I can get the FUJIFILM S4200 for $100 or the Nikon P520 for $250. I know the Nikon P520 is better because of this site: http://snapsort.com/compare/Fujifilm-S4200-vs-Nikon-Coolpix-P520. But is it worth paying the extra $150? I don't really want to spend a ton for a camera. but if the quality is good enough I was even thinking about going the extra mile for the Canon T3i, if I can find it kind of cheaply. I don't want to spend upwards of $400 though. I've seen some pics taken with the S4200, and they're pretty good, considering that I only have to spend $100 to get it.
Can someone with experience with cameras give me some advice?
I'm not looking for the most perfect photos, but I would want decent quality. I'm thinking I'll use it during events at my college group at church. Video capture is pretty important too, which is why the Canon T3i with 1080p @ 60 fps is so attractive, although the Nikon P520 can capture high-speed movies, which sounds nice too.
If I can't find them cheap, then I could stick with the S4200, since pictures are probably going to be a greater priority than video, and it's also much cheaper.
