Nikon coolpix p500 problem?

When i play the videos i have uploaded to my laptop from my nikon coolpix p500, the video plays in slow motion and is choppy but the audio plays at the correct rate. How do i fix this? i have tried playing and editing it on different programs such as windows media player, windows movie maker, sony vegas pro 11 and video pad video editor.the videos play fine on the camera, this only happens once i upload and play them on my laptop or computer

What's the best digital HD camera for me?

I need a digital camera that's hd, that uses sd cards, that does hd video and still photos at the same time, or that will allow me to take stills from video frame by frame. This camera will be for filming thunderstorms, wind, rain and most important, lightning. Also must use common file format so I can easily edit videos and upload to Facebook or YouTube, under $500 please, thanks

Oh and right now I have a Nikon P80 just not cutting it, video is poor

Display screen looks grainy on my new camera?

I just got a Sony Cyber Shot W690 and when I look at the screen the picture looks grainy but I actually take the photo and view it it's fine but otherwise it's quite annoying. Is it normal, can I do something about it or maybe it's because I'm indoors? :/ However I don't remember my other camera being like this, it was a Nikon Coolpix s6100.
Added (1). It's not so bad when my screen resolution is set on 'High' but it's unbearable when on 'Standard'.
