I want a water proof camera and can't decide?

I'm going on vacation to Florida in two weeks and I want a good water proof camera that I can take snorkeling with me. I also want to be able to use it for everything else (not in the water). I'm kind of deciding between Nikon AW100 Panasonic TS4 and Sony Cybershot DSC TX20. I want it to have good pictures out of water, perferably good low light settings, and a good price. I dont know much about cameras..help?

Advice about point and shoot cameras?

I'm considering to buy a camera for about a couple of months.
The camera I'm currently owning a sony dsc s750, 7.2 megapixel and 3x zoom.
However, I've practised with my uncle's nikon D40x and I had quite impressive results for the time I've been taking pictures, especially in macro photos and long exposure low loght ones, which I like the most.
So, I'm thinking of buying a camera with manual controls to experiment with. I can't currently afford a dslr, so I was looking for a travel-zoom or an ultra zoom slr look-alike.
I've searched many models, but I am not experienced enough to see their differences in action, as I can't spend much time testing them.
From the ultra-zooms I've seen, I really like the nikon p510, the fuji hs25exr, the sony hx200v and the panasonic fz48, as can't afford the fz150
From the travel-zooms, I found the panasonic tz30(zs20), thw samsung wb850f and the canon 260 hs.
Do you thing the step from my slim compact to an ultra zoom is too big?
Should I go by the travel zooms, or should I make a purchase which would keep me satisfied for a long time, and give me the opportunity to learn something new every day?
Can you give me one recommendation from each category?

Is the problem my new nikon L810, or my laptop?

I'm a horse rider and so i like to be able see the footage taken of me while im riding for educational purposes.
However when i uploaded the footage onto my laptop the only way i could describe it was that it was 'jittery'.It wasn't like that when i watched it on the camera but as soon as i uploaded it the footage started acting up.At this point i would have said it was my laptop, but on the other hand it cant be completely my laptop because iv uploaded countless footage from my phone, other cameras and my camcorder before this.the footage plays back in like very small bursts.eg. 1 second of playback then 3 seconds of waiting etc
My laptops a Presario CQ57 with windows 7. Are the laptop and camera not compatible or something? what should i do to correct it?

DSLRs for beginners? Deciding between these?

So I was looking for an entry level DSLR. I'm only 13 so can't get something too expensive. Someone recommended the Nikon p510 which I really liked, (http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Nikon-Products/Product/Compact-Digital-Cameras/26329/COOLPIX-P510.html#tab-ProductDetail-ProductTabs-Overview) but I also found the Canon EOS T2i with some sort of kit. (http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_rebel_t2i_ef_s_18_55is_ii_kit). Which has a better quality lens? Do either of them have background defocus? Which has better sound quality for video and a better flash? Which is quicker for taking pictures? Which is easier to control with the buttons? I liked the P510 because it has effects and seemed easier to use. Are either of them compatible with creative lenses? I also liked the P510 because it had effects but I'm open to either of them or another, but I want more details on the Nikon, specifically just how the pictures are in many situations. (vacation, landscapes, friends, parties… ) Thanks!

What is the coolpix L23 like?

I already have a good camera (coolpix L120) but I am looking for another, smaller and cheaper, camera which I don't have to worry too much about if I take it places where it might get lost or broken.
I want it to have a decent quality of photos but not too proffesionalish. Is the coolpix l23 the one for me?

Canon 600d with 18-55mm lens?

I want to upgrade to a dslr camera. I have the Nikon coolpix p90 camera right now it has a 24x zoom with 12 meg pixels. I researched and found the canon 600d (t3i) the kit lens is the 18-55mm lens I don't know much about this lens and how far it can zoom. Will it be able to zoom as far or further than the coolpix. I would think it would because the camera and kit lens are about a $500 dollar difference from the coolpix.
