Nikon Coolpix S6500 won't turn on?!

My camera was working fine and I was taking pictures with it but now it won't turn on! I haven't done anything do it. I plugged it in to my computer using the cord and the green light is flashing (slowly) which means that it is charging. But it still won't turn on! How can I get it to turn back on? Thanks!

How Does A Nikon Coolpix AW120 Charge?

How does the Nikon Coolpix AW120 charge? Does it just take batteries every time it dies or does it take charge?
