What is better: Underwater camera or an underwater camera case?

My Situation: I'm going to a family reunion in Hawaii in a couple of weeks, and was thinking taking pictures while snorkeling may be fun. I could buy one of those $10 disposable underwater film cameras, but since I go into caves a lot which are wet, I thought getting something not disposable could be useful there also. I don't want to spend too much money, but am exploring my options.

What I've tried so far: I went to REI the other day, and bought a $30 heavy duty underwater plastic baggie with a hard lens opening that goes over the camera lens part. I tried it out with the digital camera I already have and noticed the pictures are okay if I don't use the flash, but once I use the flash the pictures come out very cloudy. That was the AquaPac brand, and I'm not sure if the DiCaPac brand name underwater baggie would be any better or not.As an alternative, I'm not sure if those "hard case" underwater housings take care of this "flash problem", although with how much they cost for my particular snapshot camera model, it may be cheaper just to buy a real underwater camera. I'd also be worried that a hard case housing wouldn't be useful if I decide to upgrade cameras later on, since they're specific to the camera model?

So, moving the story forward, at Costco there's an underwater camera usually $300, but I just bought it on sale for $150, trying to figure out if I should open it or return it.It's a Nikon Coolpix AW100.It's waterproof to 33 ft, drop proof to 5 ft, and has "underwater mode" (although the camera I already have has an "aquarium mode", not sure if that would help or not).

My Question: I'm not sure if it would be best to go with the Nikon AW100, or get a better underwater heavy duty baggie case with the hard lens to go with my existing digital camera (so that I can always upgrade my digital camera later on), or some other option?

Ive lost my Camera charger. Help?

I've lost my camera charger and basically everything else for it, like the thing that sync's it into the computer, and things like that.My camera is a Nikon COOLPIX S4200 Red Digital Camera, and I really need help.Do any of you know any people on ebay, or amazon that are selling a charger for it?
Please answer some links! I need to get one of both quick because I make Youtube videos, and I can't use my webcam because it is horrible.

Nikon Coolpix AW100 keeps freezing up?

A few weeks ago I got a refurbished Nikon Coolpix AW100.It was working great up until about 3 days ago. When I turn it on and try to take a picture, it freezes up and nothing happens. Eventually it will take the photo, but it takes far longer than it should.So I have just been taking out the battery every time to restart it. Even then it still acts strangely, freezing and not doing as it is supposed to. Any ideas why this is happening? And has this happened to anyone else?

Nikon Coolpix won't connect to computer? - 1

Normally I just plug it in the USB stick and the camera shows up as a device on my computer.
But for some reason today, no matter how many times I plug it in, it won't connect. The batteries are charged, I've tried different USB ports and different USB cables.

My computer doesn't have memory card slots either.

I'm not being told what the problem is or why my device won't connect. Absolutely nothing is happening. I checked to see if perhaps there was something wrong with the USB ports, but they're fine, other devices like my Ipod are connecting perfectly. What could be wrong?

Best bridge camera that matches my needs?

I have a budget of around £250 and would love a new camera that will take professional looking photos. I am quite new to photography so does not need to be complicated but I don't mind taking time to read handbooks and learn details! I enjoy taking photos at the moment on my small digital camera and Ipod but they do not have good quality, fast shutter speed and can not take photos in dim lighting or when they zoom in. I have looked online and found that dslr cameras will be way too expensive and bridge cameras are apparently good inbetween cameras? There are no good photography shops in my area and I really would love some advice because I really don't have a clue! :D

at the moment I have looked at the Nikon Coolpix L820, and the Olympus SP-820UZ which both seem really good cameras but I was just wondering if you know of any better ones or which is best out of the two :)

Best camera for my cousin?

So my cousin is an up and coming makeup artist and she has her own beauty blog. I've been noticing in her blog that her photos are as good quality as they should be. How to know if a battery is rechargeable?

Hello guys, I just brought a Nikon Coolpix L27 Digital Camera and it came with two batteries, they are Fujitsu G Plus. All instructions on it are written in Japanese/Korean I can't read em', Internet also doesn't helps Do you guys know about it? Is it Rechargeable because it's written on the box "Rechargeable Battery" but I'm not sure! Plz Help and here are some Information:

How to change the opening picture on my camera?
