I am going to take a Digital Photography Class for Serious Amateur Photographers on September 19th. I am trying to do my research on the types of Digital Cameras and I have narrowed it down to these brands and the types from each. Tell me what one you think I should buy. I would love to hear your opinions.
Fujifilm:
X100
HS20 EXR
X10
Leica:
M9-P
X1
Nikon:
D7000
Olympus:
E5
E-P3
Panasonic:
GX1
GH2
G3
LX5
Pentax:
K-5
Samsung:
NX11
NX100
Added (1). Okay so my list above is all over the place. I did some more digging on what categories of photography I am interested in: Nature/Wildlife, Landscape, and Candid. I tried to look at what cameras were best in each area and I was going to narrow my search that way but I am a bit overwhelmed at how many different cameras are considered the best.
I was interested in the Nikon D40 but read that they were discontinued and found the Nikon FM-10 camera. Not sure if this would be what I am looking for so once again your thoughts are appreciated. :)

Which is better camera? Olympus SZ-14 or Nikon Coolpix L310?
I would like to get an advice which is better, which parameters are better. I would like to know, what type of battery is better, AA battery size or LI-50B.

Nikon Coolpix 5700 won't take pictures?
The battery is full, I'm fairly certain the memory card isn't full, and when I try to take pictures, a little red dot and "SB", and what looks like a little clock, blink on the top right-hand corner of the screen. :/ What is this problem and how can I fix it? Thanks so much for your help!
Added (1). Pictures have been taken on the card in this camera before, but a few years ago. The pictures are still on the card.

Nikon coolpix s3100 lens stuck!
I was taking pictures, and it was all fine, but then my screen went black and my lens didn't retract, so I know the battery wasn't dead. I took the battery out, but the lens stayed out. Help me! I'm going to Switzerland in a week and I need a camera!

Car Photography Advice Please!
Hi guys, i'm looking for some help with my car photography but it'll involve quite a bit of reading to understand what's wrong and what i need assistance with. I'll try and keep it as short as possible to make this a whole lot quicker for everyone.
1.My Cameras
My current camera fleet is a 10MP Nikon P100 and a 14MP Nikon S8000. The P100 boasts an impressive 26x optical zoom with full manual modes and the S8000 is slightly less impressive with only a 10x optical zoom, and lacks the manual modes too.
For all car events i will use the P100 as this is a much better all rounder and is capable of producing the better pictures. While out an about i'll just carry the S8000 in case i spot something good. And when the battery's flat in desperation i will use the 0.7MP iPod Touch 4G.
2.My Experience
The car 'photography' i do is not at all professional, it's mainly done for memories and stuff like that. But when looking back at my pics i often think i should concentrate on getting some more stunning shots, looking at Alex Penfolds photos on Flickr just makes me jealous quite frankly. My knowledge of photography is very good and i understand all the usual things that a photographer would need to know.
3. What's Wrong
Even though i've been photographing cars for about three or four years i'm still crap. None of my shots are anything really special and it frustrates me that i can't take good photos. My car pics don't look amazingly sharp and this has a big impact on the final result. Also, my camera won't support a polariser because there is no thread on the end of the lens, but this is understandable as the lens comes out of the camera and it's not the interchangeable type.
I've come to the conclusion that i'm not creative enough as well, i don't think about different camera angles and how to make my photos look more unique.
I'm on a character limit here unfortunately, but do we have any advice to give me here?
Thank you, Rob.

Nikon Coolpix L810 problem?
My sister has a Nikon Coolpix L810. Sometimes when she takes a picture, there's a black line through it. Can someone please explain why this happens and if there's a fix for it?
