Is the camera in the Nokia Lumia 1020 better than the Nikon Coolpix L820?

I'm just wondering if anyone that actually knows something about cameras and photography could tell me if the camera in the Niokia Lumia 1020 is better the Nikon Coolpix L820… Just curious because it's an argument between my brother and I that the camera in the phone is better than my actual camera, and I'd like to know if that's right or not.

Should I buy a new camera or fix my old camera?

I have a FujiFilm FinePix S3300 ($250.00), and the sensor recently broke (Red Line thru every picture), I called FujiFilm, and said they would fix it for $76.00 + $8.00 shipping =$84.00.So my question is, should I buy a new camera (I was looking at the Nikon CoolPix P7700), or should I just get my old one fixed.
Added (1). If I were to get a new one, what should I get. (I was thinking about getting the
NIKON COOLPIX D7700)

Added (2). I can't afford a DSLR even though the Nikon D7000 is my dream camera.
I prefer Nikon over Canon.
I might get a DSLR in the future, but I can't afford one now.
I think I will order the Nikon D7700 on Black Friday.
Does ordering it from amazon make the manufacturer warranty no good?

How to take faster pictures on my Nikon Coolpix P510?

I have a Nikon Coolpix P510. Everytime i take a picture it takes 20 seconds for me to be able to take another one, it used to not work like this and i dont know how to get it back to how it was before and not have to wait so long to take another photo, any ideas?

What's best to get a shallow depth of field: portrait mode or macro mode?

I have a Nikon Coolpix L810 and I'm going to be taking some senior photos for a friend and I was wondering what would be best for a shallow depth of field to create blurred backgrounds with my type of camera.Is it best to take the photographs in 'Portrait Mode' or should I just leave it on Auto and put my 'Macro' button on?
I know my DSLR camera is no where near what professional photographers use for those types of photographs. Its what my parents could afford at the time of getting it. I do plan, when I get the money, to upgrade to a more advanced Nikon DSLR (Probably the D3100 or D3200).
Any tips (places, poses, props) for me before I go and take the pictures in a week? I do plan on discussing what my friend definitely wants as far as places and outfits a few hours before taking the pictures.

I'm looking for a good camera and i found that this one has a good price comparing with others.so I was wondering if its focus is auto or manual? and if that is good?
and what's the ISO thing?
oh and more thing when was the release date?
