I can't find the timelapse on my camera?!

I have a Nikon Coolpix L830 and I would like to do a timelapse with it. However, I'm having trouble finding this setting and if anyone who also has the camera knows or just does know and would give precise directions to getting there it would be great! I would like an answer as soon as possible. Thanks!

Why won't my Nikon S3000 (Coolpix) autofocus whilst taking a photo?

Focusing works fine normally, but when it fine focus' just before fully pressing the button, it makes a clicking/grinding sound and a red box appears on the screen, where a blue box normally would to show the position of the supposed subject. Could this just be sand/grit? If so, how can this be fixed as it isn't covered in the warranty.
