NIKON COOLPIX P90 worth it?

Hi everyone, im planning to get this as a present for my daughter who is at the moment starting to get into photography, its cheap, and small, do you think this camera is worth it. I mean today we can see that almost are using DSLR or SLR, do this camera can function as average with or should i say almost the same with DSLR today,

How to reset a Nikon Coolpix L110?

I've tried various ways to fix the menu options but they haven't worked. So I thought maybe if I reset the camera it may help.
Added (1). By the way I'm not talking about restoring defaults. I'm talking about actually resetting the camera. And I have read it so I'd appreciate the answers that tell me TO read it not be posted at all.

Can you make light graffiti on a regular digital camera not on a dslr?

Just wanted to ask.
I'm so curious cuz I want to do light graffiti but I don't have a DSLR.

How to get a picture program for my digital camera (coolpix p5000)!

I received a coolpix p5000 digital camera for my birthday but it was bought off of ebay from Japan, so the software was unreadable. I tried to register my camera so I could get the program off of the nikon website, but it said the serial number was invalid to North America! So how do I get the program? It would be much apprecitated if someone could help so I could finally manage my pictures
