How to upload videos to iMovie?

I've just gotten a new camera.It's a "Coolpix S31," and I don't exactly know how to upload videos to iMovies. I upload it into iPhoto's or whatever, but how do I upload it into iMovies? Thankyou! xx

Can i bring my camera Nikon L810 a concert?

I have a concert July 2 at the Izod Center in NJ. I looked at there policy it says PERMITTED ITEMS Still cameras (non-professional)
PROHIBITED ITEMS Professional cameras and tripods (Cameras with a detachable lens of more than 2 inches) I have the Nikon L810

Nikon P310 vs Samsung WB850F?

Hi Everyone,
Currently i am stuck between 2 cameras. The prices for the two are same where i am staying and i want to know which one i should get. I am looking for manual controls which both seem to have. I need a camera with a good video capabilities so which one of the two is better.
The Samsung has 60fps and better zoom but the Nikon seems to have manual focus in video which i think the Samsung lacks (Plz confirm what controls the samsung has in video mode). Also the Nikon has the faster f1.8 lens which i prefer for those shallow depth of field videos and photos.
So please let me know which one offers more manual controls in video and which one of the two will be a better choice for video. Also if possible plz make some suggestions on cameras withing the same price range which offer these features.

Does the battery affect the digital cameras program?

I suffered a lot with my nikon coolpix digital camera if i place the battery it automatically starts directly to Photo View Mode,
if i press the capture button, the lens retract and ready for capturing images
the problem here is that all the buttons doesn't work t he way it should be

any help will be appreciated
