I just bought a Nikon Coolpix L610 16.0MP Camera and didn't realize?

That the camera does not se a lithium battery it uses AA batteries. Does anyone know if there are rechargeable AA batteries and if so can I use it in this camera?

Good Digital SLR type camera?

My little sister has been begging for an SLR type camera for over a year now. She loves the body style of them but isnt quite ready for a real SLR camera.

I have a $400 budget (not including taxes)
I have a few in mind and I would like to hear your opinions and hopefully get some suggestions!

Added (1). Well I want to get a new camera because I want one with a warranty.

I DONT want to get her a DSLR. She only wants the body style of them, not the capabilities. Plus she is only 13! After time ill get her an SLR (she loves photography) but not any time soon!

How do the nikon coolpix p510 and nikon d3200 compare?

I have narrowed it down to these two cameras, and I want to know how they compare. I'm worried the d3200 will be too much camera for me and I'll never be able to use it to its full potential. I'm not professional or anything, I just want a camera that takes quality pictures.Is there really much of a difference between 16 mp and 24mp? How to increase shutter speed for my Nikon Coolpix s3300?

How do I increase my shutter speed? I browsed my settings for an hour, but can not find it. I'm trying to get my pictures to stop have motion blurs.In some pictures, they're minor, and in others they're big.
