I want to get the Nikon p510 but online next to the gps it says additional fees may apply.

What camera lenses are compatible with Nikon Coolpix L120?

I've had my Nikon for about a year now and wanted to know if there are lenses that could screw on to the original one. I looked on the Nikon website, and I found some but I don't know if they are worth it or not.

It's probably about time I my own camera. I was thinking about getting an expensive DSLR camera or something similar, but then I came across an add for this.http://shop.nikonusa.com/store/nikonusa/en_US/pd/productID.236005400?merch=ashton_AW100_BuyNow_Top. Its the Coolpix AW100
I can buy direct from Nikon for $280, or I can buy from Amazon and get it for about $200.

I've used the Coolpix models before and I love them.My mom has owned the Coolpix L20 and Coolpix L24. They're pretty good cameras if you know how to use them.

Anyway, I've been reading some of the reviews on Amazon and they seem to be giving good marks for the camera.

I just want yall's opinions on this camera and if any owners have experienced problems or if you know of any I'd like to know. I believe one guy had rotten luck and the camera failed to keep out water several times. I do a lot of camping and bike riding.

As of right now the only cameras I own is the poor 3mp camera on my phone, a disassembled 4mp camera, and my DSi. I have to keep asking my mother for her camera.

I probably will buy this camera regardless. Unless I hear something like "the image sensor dies after a year" or something similar to that guy's problem on Amazon.

So if there are any photography/camera nuts out there, what do you think of this camera?

I want a camera that can take great quality pictures, compatible, perfect for self-portraits (articulating screen), and does what any SLR camera does.My dad recommends the Nikon d5100 just because it's a SLR camera and it takes better pictures than the Nikong Coolpix p770 and the Canon Powershot g12. However, I just feel that the Nikon d5100 body is too big for me to put it in my bag and bring whole camera with me everywhere. Then there's the Canon Powershot g12 and the Nikon Coolpix p7700. From all the reviews and "hands-on" videos, both of those cameras seem to meet my needs in a camera that I really want.My dad feels that the Canon g12 is a good camera, but it's pretty old (2010) and he believes that i can find a newer camera similar to the g12. That's when he found the Nikon Coolpix p7700. I don't know much about cameras since i'm just a starter (and only 16), but I think the Nikon p7700 could be the one. BUT, it's expensive ($499)

Please tell me your recommendations! I want to get one before Christmas week so I can take my own pictures and not bother my dad to constantly email me his pictures; i'm tired of taking pictures from my phone as well.

SD Card wont stay in Nikon camera?

I have a Nikon Coolpix P500 and for some reason the SD card wont go in.It was working perfectly fine a couple of days ago until I took it out to import the images onto my computer and when I tried to put it back, it just wont "click" and keeps popping out when ever I try to push it in,

I already know for definite that it's not the card that's the problem, because today I went out to buy a new one and even that one wont go in.

Can anybody help me out and offer some advice? This is urgent as I need it for college.

How do you take 3D pictures with the nikon coolpix l180?

Anyway, the l180 has a 3d picture taking capability but when ever i go to do it, it says cant take the picture. I was asking this to see if anyone might know if there's a trick or how to do it. There is nothing in the manual about it either. Thank you for any help you can give me.
