Does the Nikon Coolpix L610 have an external mic socket?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew if the Nikon Coolpix L610 has an external mic socket that I can attach a better microphone into, I want to make videos and the internal mic won't be good enough.

*I know this isn't a video camera and so isn't the best for doing this but it's cheap and HD kay? £150 is all I can afford on a camera right now so PLEASE don't comment with trying to get me a better camera, it will do, just please answer the question* ^_^

Which camera to buy! (Nixon users preferred)?

I am undecided between the Nikon Coolpix P310 or Nixon 1 J1?
I want a camera that can still take photography level shots but is small and compact.and I've narrowed my decisions down to those 2.so please someone convince me of either ither.

I already have a Nikon D3200 DSLR i just want a smaller camera for personal life.such as family outings birthdays stuff like that. I use my D3200 for my job as a night club photographer and i want to only use it for that.

Need to find a replacement display for Nikon CoolPix S2700?

Hey! I have a Nikon CoolPix S2700 with a broken lcd display. I'm trying to find a replacement but no luck. I lack of knowledge about cameras so would any other s200 lcd displays fit?

Best camera for sports photography?

I have a Nikon Coolpix p510, looks like a dslr but is still considered a point and shoot.
In the last year I have really gotten into shooting my brothers rugby games, I would like to upgrade.
I want to stay around the $1000 mark.
What is the best camera for shooting sports in the $1000 price range?

Manual Focus pics on Nikon p510 not showing?

Hi, I'm a beginning stop-motion filmmaker, and i just ordered a Nikon P510. And guess what? It came today.however, when i tried to take pictures in the Manual options, the Camera took the pictures, but it showed up very dark in the viewing menu. I'm wondering if this is something that has to be ajusted in the camera settings, or is a problem with the camera itself. P. S it is refurbished, so I'm not blaming Nikon yet.hope someone finds this.thanks!
