My camera lens has sand in it?

It works really awkwardly.its a Nikon S3100.so at first it said lens error then it started to work but then when I closed it it wouldn't turn off properly i mean the screen shuts down but the lens doesn't go all the way.so should youtube be my friend? should I clean all the dust from the parts of the camera lens? it seems to work since I can still get it all the way.

Nikon P510 won't let me upload videos?

On multiple occasions I have shot some videos and then tried to upload to various sites such as youtube and Facebook. However, when I try to upload them, there is always an error? The videos work fine are perfect quality, but I can't seem to share them anywhere? Please help!

I already am, I connected my camera to my computer and they saved fine.

Is the Nikon red coolpix l820 digital camera good?

I know nothing about the cameras but I want a nice digital looking one to take good pics with then just like a phone camera or something I love taking pictures and someone recommended it to me. Should I go for it? How much does it cost?

I have a Nikon p510 and i'm still learning all the stuff about it. When I turn my shutter speed it gets either lighter or darker. I know that's supposed to happen but how do I turn it up or down and be able to control how light or dark the photo is?

Nikon coolpix L310 help!

So my friend has the Nikon coolpix L310 and it takes amazingly clear fast moving photos even when it's not on sports mode so I decided to buy it. Unfortunately when I go to use it in that way it just blurs! Even on sports mode! Does any one know how I can make my fast moving photos not blur?

Nikon Coolpix L120 settings?

I know that my camera is a point and shoot and that I cannot mess with the following settings:

Focal length/ISO
Shutter speed
Aperture setting

But I do not know what the default settings are. I don't have the manual anymore. I'm in a photography class, and it is required to state what the settings used were.So… does anyone know what the default focal length/ISO, shutter speed, and aperture setting is for a Nikon Coolpix L120?

How much would you sell a perfect condition hardly used nikon coolpix p500?

How much would you sell a nikon coolpix p500 on ebay? I have the hdmi plug thecharger the strap, the tv plugs etc no cap tho but i can get one or its somewere in house but how much would you put it up on ebay? Its literally never been used it was bought this christmas… With a wireless sd card that sends the pics straight to your laptop… Please name me a price to help me begin its auction if your interested my ebay is aidenmbrown or aidenmb

My nikon coolpix p310 won't turn on after months of not using it?

I got a Nikon coolpix p310 for Christmas. But i ended up losing the charger for a few months and so when it died I couldn't it charge for those few months. Anyways I finally found the charger and I spent a few hours charging it yesterday. The green light that goes on when it is charging worked but when I took it off the charger the lights immediately went off and it won't turn on. When I plug it into my computer though the window about the camera says it's at 100 percent.

My question is what is wrong with it? Is the camera messed up now since it was dead for so long? If so, is there a way I can fix it?

I've tried taking out the battery and then putting it back in but that won't work. I don't have a sim card for it btw.

Nikon D50 or the Canon Powershot SX10?

I'm leaving to go abroad for a year and have a very limited budget for a camera (hence why I'm looking at older models). I have dabbled in photography before, but don't have a ton of experience.

I have an opportunity to buy a Nikon D50 SLR with AF-S DX 18-55mm lens for only $120. First off, is that an acceptable price? Secondly, even though it's a 2005 DSLR, would its image quality still be far superior to the Powershot S3 or SX10? I have always wanted a DSLR and think that maybe the D50 would be a good started camera, but I also don't want to be frustrated trying to teach myself how to use it during my year abroad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Added (1). I'm also wondering if I will need an additional lens for the D50, or if I could stick with the 18-55 mm for awhile until I become more confident using it… Maybe the Powershot S3 or the SX10 would be much simpler for me to use? Thoughts?
