Why does my dancing look different on camera?

Hello! I'm an aspiring dancing, and I've been training at home as well as in classes. I'm an above average dancer, not excellent, but pretty good, thats what my friends and my dance instructor tell me. I have been trying hard to improve everyday, striving to get better in every class that I take.My question is why do I look so different on camera from what I see in the mirror? My camera is a coolpix l810(nikon). I record myself at home, in my room which is extremely small, like barely any place to dance. But I do it anyway. I look really weird dancing on camera than I do in the mirror. My hands look extremely skinny like they're floating. It looks pretty gross. So can I rely on the camera? Its basically my hands that look weird, otherwise everything else looks pretty okay to me.the angles aren't perfect. I put the camera on a table which isn't tall enough. Is it about the angles or do I really dance what I look like on camera or the mirror? And if you do have tips on how to record better, please let me know! :)

Is a nikon p520 or p510 worth it for beginners?

I've really gotten into photography i would take shots with my phone but i feel like its time to step up. I was thinking about getting a p520 because of decent price it, i understand it may not be advanced like the dslr cameras, but i figured it beats paying $1000 or more for a d600 or a d4 plus paying 100 or more for a lens. I figure something sipmle like the p520 is something to start out with for beginners. What do u think?

Good camera/ Affordable?

Hey, I love taking pictures of nature, people (not in a creepy way ahaha) and I frequently go to concerts. I take pictures of the forrest, etc, and bands preforming (videos as well) and that's what I typically use my camera for and though it gets the job done, its not clear nor is it good quality in the image and sound. I mean that as in I can see their figure and hear whats going on, its just I can't see their faces and sometimes the videos freeze up because the concerts are so loud, or the object I'm taking a picture of looks like ***. Currently I have a Kodak piece of *** small digital camera thing, and I want to invest in a camera that takes good quality pictures (no not amazzzzzing) but good/ clear/ not blurry, basically borderline professionally clear videos and pictures and good sounding videos, so I can hear the music and not hear the video skipping cause the amp is too damn loud. I hope you kind of understand what I mean here. If not feel free to ask any questions :)
Anyways, I have researched a few camera's one being the Nikon Coolpix l180 and It seems good, but than again I have no *** idea what im talking about xD The reason I'm asking this is the only cameras that I know that can take relatively good pictures are like $2000.00 and I don't have that much to spend on a camera, maybe $350.00 max. But anything under would be great. Thanks :)

Nikon J1 Wireless Adaptor?

Will Nikon ever make a wireless adaptor for the Nikon J1/V1 and all of the other models that are not currently able to use wireless Mobil adapters. The J3, S1, and V2 all can use a wireless Mobil Adaptor but the J1, J2, and V1 can not use one. Will they have a software update that will eventually allow people to use those features so I could purchases an accessory that would allow me to upload pictures to my tablet or smartphone?

Me and a bunch of my friends have j1/v1 because we all thought they were pretty neat but we don't want to spend another 1000 dollars on another camera. I feel that their are more than just the 30 or so of us that would like to be able to purchases one of these adapters and I feel that they could do another software update so that the Nikon J1's and V1's and J2's can use wireless adapters as well.

Also might I add they sell a mini usb adapter for the Nikon J3, s1, and v2 that they do not make for the j1/v1/j2 and I believe that the hardware is their seeing that they made an update for the other ones, I believe that they could just do a software update but I am not sure on that. Suppose that it is only a software update that is needed, do you thing that they would actually up the time into it to make a software update that could allow them to sell more of the mini usb adapters for the camera and they could make a small margin of profit and gain a better reputation by it? Do you think that it would be worth it to them? Supposing it is NOT a lack of hardware.
