Need some digital camera advice?

Im looking to get a new compact digital camera, Nothing fancy im not a professional or anything !! Anyway i dont actually know much about them but my previous camera was a lumix panasonic Dmc type. I loved this camera but unfortunately my sister broke it :( and it is no longer under warranty. I can no longer find this camera in the shops so im looking for a similar camera. I really just want a reasonably priced camera Preferably under 100 euro or a little over.that i can use to take shots of my drawings and, maybe the odd concert.also it has to have a chargeable battery because i hate HATE cameras that require AA battery's. My Nikon Coolpix p500 isn't reading my memory card?

Hi, I've been using the same memory card for my Coolpix P500 since I got it, and all of a sudden, my camera has been storing the pictures I take to the internal memory on the camera, instead of the memory card.It doesn't even appear to be reading the card. I formatted the memory on the card, the camera, made sure the card wasn't locked, and even tried using a new memory card. None of those things worked. Can anyone help me?

Why doesnt my camera focus?

I have a Nikon Coolpix S3300 camera, and when I am recording a video, most cameras i see automatically focus on the subject when it is up close. Mine doesnt do this, it is just average.
Is it because the camera isnt 'expensive' enough? even though it was just over £100…
Also while you are reading this, how can i get a blurred background (like in proffesional pictures) IF i can? because my camera isnt a huge bridge camera or anyything its pretty 'cheap' however it is 16 megapixels?

Why does my sd card have blank files after i remove it from my laptop?

After I took some pictures with my camera I inserted the SD card into my laptop to save them. When i removed it from my laptop i went back to look at the pictures and some are blank with the words "file contains no image." I was wondering if this is a sign that I have a virus or if somethings wrong with my camera. Its a Nikon coolpix I got like 5 years ago.
Added (1). I always eject it before I take it out.

What camera to purchase?

I'm looking for a camera that helps take clear cut candid shots (good focus) and strong low-light pictures. I work a lot with landscapes (hazy, cloudy weather) and busy portraits.

I had a Sony DSC-H3, it was good for bright outdoor pictures, but nothing else. I just purchased a Nikon P510 but it takes far too long to focus as well as O. K. low light pictures.

So to sum it up: Good low light & strong focus. Speed is good :) Any price range. Any model.

My camera broke? HELP!

I have a cheap nikon coolpix s2500. I don't know what happened but maybe because i went to the beach and took a swim.i left the camera on the ground near the seaside.it was the water or sand i think and i dropped it couple bunch of times.all buttons not working except i can take pictures and zoom in and out only… i cant afford to buy new one.told my parents bout it and they said 'oh, your fault.' . hheellp!!! please.yes its my fault :( i know but help me.

What camera is good for low light & more?

I'm looking for a camera that can take very good low light pictures. I'd like the camera to be fairly quick as well. Also, when talking candid shots, I'd like for a camera that focuses sharply.

Basically I want a 70-300mm lens but theres one which are like £80 on ebay and other ones which are so much more. I want to buy one for my nikon 3100 but not sure how much to spend.

Nikon 1 J1 vs Nikon Coolpix P510?

I want to invest in a camera to take great vacation/family event photos. I've also started to pursue photography as a hobby. Currently, I have a Nikon L26, but I'm never quite satisfied with the photos. The only time I've used either camera (J1 & P510) was at the store.
So, if you have any experience with either camera, please help me out!

Which is the best camera?

I am a 14 year old looking for a camera i can take when i travel and to take model sort of shots and fun pictures with my friends.i have researched a lot and i'm a bit confused on to which of these cameras is a better fit for me.i want a nice zoom, and focus and clear quality.
