How to put on filter lens on camera?

Need some help with changing digital camera setting?

Okay, i have the nikon coolpix s220 and when i put the mem-card in the computer and go to DCIM, there is a 100NIKON folder that has the first 30 pictures i took + any video i take, and after that the folders are 101INVTL-814NVTL with only 1, 2, or 0 pictures in each.why is this happening, shouldn't only make a new folder after a few hundred pictures? normally it wouldn't be a problem but every picture in every folder is named DSCN101, so when i save them to my computer i have to go in to every folder and change the name of each picture HOW CAN I CHANGE THIS?
Added (1). Thanks, but i don't do any of those different things, just take pictures and videos, no voice notes or crops oe edits in any way.

Why won't my camera focus?

I have the Nikon Coolpix S30. And no matter what I do I can't get it to focus… The Lens are 4.1-12.3mm. I don't know if that helps… I have tried resetting all settings and zooming in and out. HELP!
Added (1). It is new… I got it recently.It worked for about a week then I put it up in my room and didn't touch it for a while. I got it down and well now it wont focus…

How to take cool pictures with a Nikon coolpix L310?

I've been wanting to take some bokeh effects with this camera but most of them have never turned out great. I also want to try and take some cool pictures of the stars & moon, ect. I love taking pictures but still a newbie at what I should do with the camera. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :) Thank you

Nikon coolpix 8100 recording issues?

Hi there! I went to a concer last year and used my sb nikon coolpix camera to record footage and all. The pics were amazing! The videos on the otherhand, some parrts were so clear you could see his sweat, others SO BLURRY! I realized i had the autofocus on… So it focused like everytime i zoomed in and all. I just tried testing the recording with just a one time forcus, and now its even worse! Does anyone know what i can do to get nice clear videos? Please help thanks

Nikon Coolpix S203 Camera Lens Error?

The other day my camera was sitting upright on a table in our entry way. The lens was extended. I went to pick up the camera and dropped it on the lens onto the floor (about 5/6 feet off the ground onto hardwood).It was jammed for a day until I Googled how to fix it. I hit it against my palm a few times and that seemed to extend the lens and I could take pictures. I went to turn it off and it won't go all the way in and it's jammed. Not sure what to do… I REALLY don't wanna pay for the repairs or buy a new one.

Opinions on this Canon camera?

I want to purchase a new camera, because my old digital Nikon is starting to go. I had the coolpix and it was alright for just a normal digital camera. I was looking to buy a more professional camera for my birthday though. I've been looking online and I thought the EOS Rebel T3 Metallic Gray EF-S 18-55mm IS II Lens Kit would be a good one. I know nothing about cameras and I don't know where to start but if anyone has this camera could I please get your opinion on it? I don't want to start out with a high tech advance camera, just a simple easy to use good one for now. If anyone also has any recommendations that'd be great :)

Nikon Coolpix l610 night landscape?

Is there any way I can film handheld with night landscape and actually see what I'm filming or do I need some other source of light with me at all times? Have you ever seen those ghost shows on tv and how they film at night?, I was just wondering if it was possible to do that on the Nikon coolpix l610.
