Why are my photos not sharp?

So, the picture is straight out of the camera with no editing. I feel like my pictures are not turning out very sharp and can't figure out why. They look fine when I look at them web size but when I look at the original size people's hair and facial features always look like paintings to me.Is this because of the settings on my camera? How do I fix this or is it normal? I am using a Nikon P510. I know that this isn't the best quality camera but shouldn't they still come out better than this? Thanks for your help!

Nikon l610 battery exausted?

My mom works in a factory and they gave her some extra stock batteries that are good.iv used these in my other camera (dont know the name of it but its a good camera by kodak) anyways, i can have my nikon on for about 7 minutes then a notification comes up and says the battery is exausted and it shuts off.i love this camera to death but this is very annoying.when it does that the battery is "half dead" as seen on the screen.and if i leave it for a while i turn it back on and its got 100% battery.
this annoys me very much, im training to be a photographer and its embarassing when this happens.iv had to carry around a ton of batteries with me and its a giant hassel.
anyone have a solution?
[the batteries are not bad, nothings wrong with them, tried lithium batteries and the same thing happens, nothings wrong with the camera either.i dropped the photo size and how HD it is aswell but the problem persists]

Whats the best Canon camera?

Im interested in a canon camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix L105 already and its NOT a good one.
I would like it to include auto-focus, but its okay if it's not auto. I just want something that blurs the background. I would also like HD video quality. (: I mean i dont want anything too pricey.under $500 if you can. Sorry i probably sound so stupid. D;

Would a Nikon p510 be good for me?

I'm really into photography, but the camera I have at the moment is only a point and shoot.It's okay, but I really want to have better quality pictures.So far the nikon coolpix p510 has really gotten my attention.It seems like a good camera for the price. I definitely can't afford a DSLR as the cheapest one I've been able to find was nearly $500.So what is your opinion? Are there any other cameras that are equal in performance for around $300?

How to take my camera and get the pictures onto my laptop?

I have this school project. And I took pictures of me and all. Well now I need to print them. But I have to get them onto my computer first. I have the USB or whatever cord name it has plugged in to the camera and laptop. I turned it on and everything but nothing comes up. The camera is a Nikon Coolpix L26. Help? Please? Thanks!

Why won't my Nikon coolpix s3000 charge? - 1

I have a nikon coolpix s3000 and I haven't used it in since june so obviously when I tried to turn it on about 2 months ago the battery died very quickly. I then realized that I lost my charger and just got a new one to plug into the computer to charge. I plugged it in to my laptop and it downloaded the drivers.It then had the flashing green light that indicates charging it, but after about five minutes it stops. I then try to turn it on and it doesn't work.Is my battery exhausted?
I am also in a dorm room so the internet is really slow, but I don't think that makes a difference.It doesn't even acknowledge that it is connected to my laptop. Please help, I don't want to buy a new battery if that isn't the problem.
Added (1). Its been dead for 2 months because I haven't had a charger.

Why does my Nikon Coolpix S3100 say battery exhaust?

I ordered another charger but now my camera wont even switch on. When the charger is plugged in the camera does not flash that its charging? My camera is just over a year old, iv already paid for a charger do you think i need a new battery?
