There is a small pink string in my camera lens, what should I do?

I have recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix P510. Somehow, there is a small pink string inside the lens. I don't believe the string is affecting the picture quality, but I am afraid that it may later move into the center of the lens, therefore, affecting the picture. Should I return the camera and exchange it or a new one, or is there a way I could get the string out? I have only had the camera for a day.

Good bridge Camera Under 300$? Nikon L120 or Kodak Z891?

I'm looking for a camera for around 300 Dollars. I'd like to use something more powerful than a point and shoot, like a bridge or compact system camera with a super zoom lens. One camera that stood out to me in store was the Nikon Coolpix L120. But online, I found the Kodak Easyshare 7891.
It seems like the Kodak comes with a view finder while the Nikon has a high res screen with no viewfinder. From the Specs I've read it seems like the Kodak can take higher quality pictures( I think?) but it's bigger and heavier( though I haven't seen it). I think of Nikon being a nice brand though. I need some help!

My nikon s5100 won't charge?

When I plug it in to the computer, the little light on top goes on, then it makes a beeping noise and it goes off.It won't charge, and won't turn on.Do I need a new battery? If not, then what's the problem? Thanks.

What to get with 150$ from christmas?

I have 150$ from family for christmas.they all want me to buy something soon so they can see it.i have a few options a nikon s01 the mini one.ive only had one camera but its old.an ipod touch but idk.ive had 3 all stollen so i dont want it to go away as always.jimmy choo uggs, idk i hvae 6 pairs of uggs but none chocolate so idk.any ideas??? i saved 150$ of the money, it was originaly 300$. any ideas?

What are the red numbers at the bottom of my camera?

I have a Nikon L310. Whenever I'm about to take a picture with it, and I'm focusing it, red numbers pop up at the bottom.It only happens when the lighting is bad or the focus is bad. Basically warning me that it isn't going to be a good picture. Sometime the number is 1/3 or 1 and all kinds of numbers. What do they mean?

Nikon Coolpix p310 makes short movies?

I just got the Camera and so far im really enjoying it. But the one thing i dont like is how short the recordings have to be.Is there a way to change this so that I have control on when the camera stops recording or/and stops? If so, how do I do that?

Which underwater camera seems to be the best quality?

I am searching for an underwater camera. Here are the choices. I'm not looking for anything fancy, but I want good quality pictures on the poolside and underwater.
