Enrolling in a photography class in the fall. I currently have a Nikon p510, but since it's a point and shoot, In can't use it for class. (So I am somewhat familiar with Nikon's camera layout.) I have my eye on a Canon EOS Rebel 450d Xsi and everything about it looks awesome. The only problem is, it is discontinued and it was created in 2008. I have access to it's purchase, but because the hardware is so old, I don't know if i should invest $320 into it. I am also looking at a Canon Rebel t3i. I know that it is newer, 2011 I believe? Anyway, please give me your expertise. I am on a $350 and under budget, I am looking mainly at gently used cameras! Thanks so much!
