So I wanted to go take pictures with my camera on Friday, but I had to charge it first. I was able to look and go through my photos by plugging into my computer via USB earlier that day (I went through all my SD cards too to see what was on them). That night, I let it charge overnight to see if it was the battery. The next morning, I go to turn it on. The thing in the top right lights up green, but then the green light disappears, and the touch screen wouldn't turn on.
I haven't used my cameras in a few months so I don't know why it won't work. I had it charging for at least 8 hours so the battery should have been fully charged, right?
Since my dad has the same camera (it wasn't working, but he kept the battery), I took my battery out and put his in. Then I charged it with his battery for about an hour and turned it on. Again, the green light goes on, but then disappeared and the touch screen wouldn't turn on.
I tried turning it in with my battery this morning, but not much progress. It still wants to give me the green light and the touch screen won't turn on. I have it on the wall charger now, and it is showing the orange blinking light, which means it's charging.
Anyone knows what's going on here? Do I need a new battery? Or is it the camera? I've had for 3 years, almost 4.
