Can someone tell me about all the different types of cameras and the differences between them please? For example a bridge camera and an SLR camera.
i'm looking into buying a good camera and want some advice… I want one like the nikon coolpix but one that is rechargeable? Can anyone tell me about types of camera's and maybe recommend a few?

Why won't my Nikon COOLPIX L610 turn on?

So I bought this camera a year ago. Only ever used it once. Nephews are coming over, wanted to take some pics, took it out of the box, and it won't turn on at all. Press the power button, nothing. Change the batteries, nothing. Hooked it up to my computer with the USB cable that's provided with it, and it doesn't even register on my computer. Trying to see if this happened to anyone else because I would really like to use it. Thanks.

My Nikon P90 won't connect and upload to my computer!

I got a Nikon coolpix P90 and took a lot of pictures, and i want to upload them to my computer. It's telling me to run 'Nikon transfer' so i did/have been doing that. It loaded the first time but stopped in the middle of the transfer. So I have some on my computer but I still have more to load. But it's not connecting anymore. The camera's plugged in and everything but it just wont show up in the Nikon Transfer screen.
Hope I'm making sense.oh, and it's not that may computer is full, it has a lot more room in it:)
is there any other thing i can run to load them?

I have this camera, but my sister dropped it and when I try to turn it on, most of the time is says that i have the lens cap is still on, but it isn't. And sometimes the lens comes out and stays out when i turn it of. What do I do?

How does time lapsing and slow motion recording work on the nikon coolpix p330?

I know how to activate timelapse and set it to 30 sec 1 min 5 or 10 min but I don't actually know how it works can someone explain. I thought it was a video but it actually just snaps a picture every certain amount of seconds? And comes out as (100 picture for example)? How do i make it into a video. Just put all the picture together (in a video editor)? And also how do I record in slow mo. I chose 120fps using the FN button and it says 120 on the screen but how do I record in slowmo…hitting the record button doesn't do it? At least i don't think
