How to decide which camera to buy? (help)?

I want to spend under 100 on a compact camera

I narrowed it down to these two, however i dont know which is better?

the nikon has much better stats but why is it cheaper?

I dont understand how it works

can someone help me pick between the two

Nikon Coolpix P100 good for video?

I am thinking of getting this camera but as I've bought cameras and been disappointed with the result thus far, I want to make sure I know what I'm getting. I will mostly use the camera for /almost/-professional cosplay shoots (full or waist-up portraits) and cmvs (cosplay music videos).It this a good camera for such?

Camera will not turn on?

Coolpix 14.0 had an error message - not sure what it said but the camera will not turn on - changed the battery and cleaned out the battery area

My Nikon Coolpix S3100 won't charge or work at all?

Two years ago I got my Coolpix camera. Since then I have lost the SD card (stupid, I know) and the battery refuses to work.

The first time this happened, we got a new battery. I charged it overnight, and the next day it only worked for like 5 minutes then turned off. I haven't been able to get it to work ever again.

At the moment it's connected to my computer. The only hope I have for it is that the little flash thing blinks for a few seconds then turns off. I've read this means it's charging. I try to unplug then turn it on but it won't. Any help? Thanks!

How to avoid vignetting when attaching lenses to my Nikon p7100?

I just bought two Vivitar lenses, wide angle and telephoto. I also have the 58 mm conversion adapter. Everything fits, but I can't figure out how to fix the vignetting! I changed settings on my camera to wide angle and that didn't help any.Is there another piece of the puzzle I am missing? Google hasn't helped me finding any answers!

Should I buy Sony cybershot W710 or Nikon coolpix L28 for video recording?

So, I want to buy a low budget point and shoot and I visited one of my local stores and they showed me two models Sony W710(with 16.1 mega pixels) and Nikon L28(with 20 mega pixels). Both of them record videos in 720p. I'm confused which one to buy. I mainly need one for capturing images in day light condition and recording dance videos of mine. Actually, I need one especially for recording my dance videos as I'm learning how to dance. I've heard that the sony W710 is bad at recording so I'm perplexed. Also, the nikon one uses AA Alkaline batteries. Please suggest me which one to opt for! Thank you so much everyone in advance for your help!

Nikon S3000. Charging problem!

I have nikon S3000, i have had it since 2010!
Last year there was some problem with the battery and it just wouldn't charge… whenever i connected it to the computer or the charger the camera blinked twice and then it would stop! The battery was exhausted so i was unable to use it! I asked nikon support online and they said try using a new battery and so I did… The problem was solved and i used it for two days in a wedding.
Then the battery was exhausted and i forgot to recharge it (the battery being inside the camera)
I took it out after days and found the same thing happening…

Whenever i connect it to the computer or the charger it just blinks twice and stops.It's been 6 months and today i connected it to the computer and it started blinking really fast and the stopped!!!

Please help!!! i don't know what to do… i have some doubts about the battery too because it had no waranty!

Should I buy a new battery again???
