JPEG Size 12 X 8 NIKON L 120?

My Nikon L120 takes pictures at 4320 X 3240 pixels. When I want to resize these pictures the size becomes 12 X 9. But I want to resize picture to 12 X 8 or 6 X 4 without any damage to picture proportion. I am using adobe photoshop CS 3. Please guide me how can I resize picture to 12 X 8 or 6 X 4without any distortion.

I'm not able to open this video I took on my camera?

I have a Nikon CoolPix camera. I took a video thats about 11 minutes or so long. I try to play it on Windows Media PLayer and I get a message that says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
But I also have videos that are like 3 minutes long, and those play just fine.

How can I get these longer videos to play?
Added (1). I've installed VLC and it still will not play. I even tried Quicktime.It just won't play…

Which bridge camera is better?

Hello, i am a amateur pro photographer(if you dont believe check www.shutterpixel.blogspot.in) and i currently own a Canon PowerShot A1200 (4000RS, 40$) and i want to move on. I Cant afford a DSLR so i have zeroed 3 Bridge cameras.

How to fix the zoom on my Nikon Coolpix L310? - 1

My Nikon Coolpix L310 zoom button is still moving like normal, but whenever i push it to either side it makes no effect on the zoom. Sometimes it occasionally zooms in a fraction, but nothing else. Nothing else is wrong with the camera!

Memory card is write protected.?

So, help me out please! I have a Nikon Coolpix camera with 2GB SD card, and the card is write protected. I tried moving the lock switch up, I put tape on the other side, and I even formatted the card on my computer.Is there something else I can try to fix it?

I also tried putting in brand new memory cards, but they have the same problem.Is it just my camera?

Nikon camera become very slow all of a sudden?

I got my camera about 2 months ago, its a Nikon Coolpix touch screen - S4150, for some reason all of a sudden after i take a photo it takes about 15 seconds to load before i can take another picture, its very frustrating, ive reset my settings, formatted my memory card etc, also in the top right hand corner there is a flashing red clock if that helps, what can i do to get it back to normal?
