Why does my Nikon Coolpix L810 keep turning off when I take a picture?

It says the battery in it is fully charged. I just got the camera less than a week ago. Any Ideas whats wrong?

Need a good first camera?

So i've been thinking of getting a camera. I don't know the type of things that professionals would know about cameras this is basically my first camera. I'm 17, still in h.s and this is just basically a hobby for me. Any suggestions for a first camera for the people who know more than i do? Price range somewhere from 250 or 300-400, i'm currently planning to get the Nikon p510.

What camera should I go with? canon SX50 or nikon p510?

Hi, I'm getting myself into digital photography as a serious hobby, I really get a kick out of it. That's why I need a versatile camera to get used to everything and work with it as much as possible for all sorts of situations (landscape, portrait, macro, wildlife) and get a feel for manual controls over time, but I don't want to dish out huge sums of money on lenses, that's why I'm going superzoom/bridge route in stead of dSLR route.

My two choices right now, also available in my country, are the nikon P510 and canon SX50.

But I'm having a very hard time deciding which to go for. I think technically the SX50 is better, but for some reason, looking through tons of samples I can clearly tell the difference between pictures taken from the p510 and those taken by the SX50 and for some reason, I just "feel" those are better looking pictures, maybe I'm crazy.

Any opinion is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how to hack a Nikon Coolpix P1?

I want to be able to take time-lapse photos with an interval less than 30s (10-15s would be perfect). Does anyone know how I can do that with a Nikon Coolpix P1?

For the Nikon Coolpix l810, how do I focus it while im taking a video?

Iv had the camera for a while, but i can never figure out how to focus it while in video mode. PLEASE HELP!!!

Nikon P310 or S9300 which to get!

I have a Nikon DSLR camera but i want a good compact camera, I was tempted with the Nikon P7700 but I think that's a little 'too good' (if that makes sense!) when I've got my SLR, so i'm looking at the P310 or S9300..I've read reviews, videos etc and i still cant decide - i think i'm more for the P310 … but what do you think has anyone used either of these? - thanks!

How to remove the Nikon EH-69P Battery off the Adaptor?

I am traveling from England to the USA soon and really need a way of charging my camera whilst I am out there. I have a Nikon Coolpix S6100 and was wondering how I could remove the battery from the adaptorto charge it? (Is it fixed on or can I actually pull it off, if so, how?!) Once the battery is removed an the connectors be used to charge it in America! So confused! Would be grateful for any help and advice, thank you x

Missing button on Nikon Coolpix L110 camera?

The button on my camera disappeared to take the picture and I have no idea what could have happened to it, is it possible for me to pop off the button from my Olympus SZ-11 camera and put it on my Nikon or will it not fit?
