I'm trying to choose a camera?

How do I stop my Nikon Coolpix P100 to stop taking more than one exposure?

Whenever I take pictures on my camera (Nikon Coolpix P100) it always takes two exposures. It's a nuisance.
I looked all over setting but I can't find a way to fix it.
Any way to stop this?

Which one of these two cameras should I buy?

Hi, I'm looking at buying one of the current Nikon Coolpix digital cameras, the B700 or P900 mainly for travel photography including:

- Native wildlife (marsupials/mammals in: nature reserves, national parks, other bushland, and species that inhabit the water too.)

- Various scenic landscapes, city skylines, and tourist attractions/sights including views from the summit of Mount Koscuiszko.

- For taking selfies.

The Coolpix B700 has:
up to 60 x optical zoom, 20.3 megapixels, and weighs 570 grams (including battery and memory card)

The Coolpix P900 has:
up to 83 x optical zoom, 16.1 megapixels, and weighs 899 grams (including battery and memory card)

I have seen and held display models of both these Coolpix high zoom makes/models, at a local camera store. The staff member there, reckoned he could see into the viewfinder screen, as far as across the end of the mall and down the street, up to an estimated 120 metres away, when he zoomed in.

Is it true, that not fitting a UV filter/lens protector would affect and damage any sensors either camera has, over time?

Canon, Nikon, Or other brand flashes on Sony?

I have a Sony NEX-6.

To my knowledge, it has a universal hot shoe. Does that mean i can use ANY type of flash on my camera? I've heard that you can use other brand flashes (ie. Canon, Nikon) on any camera if they have a universal hot shoe.

Is The Nikon Coolpix l840 Any Good Starting Out?

I don't have a high budget and after reading reviews and seeing pictures it looks pretty good. I'm just wondering if it's good for someone that's brand new? I've taken really nice photos on IPhones (as in, I had actual photographers tell me they were legit nice and I have a good eye for taking picture) and I've ALWAYS been interested in photography. Is it any good? I want to try my best with what I have right now and take pictures any time I go to the park or any time I see anything interesting and I'd also like to use it at parties etc.

Need help choosing between 2 cameras

My husband is wanting to get into photography. I've been doing research and finally narrowed my choices down to the canon rebel t6 and the Nikon d3400. I'm not sure which one to go with. He just starting out in this new hobby, the last camera he had was a coolpix digital camera from 2006. They are about the same price if I buy a kit from Amazon or best buy. Which one is the better investment for a beginner?

My Nikon coolpix s610 is not taking pictures?

I just got a Nikon coolpix s610 and I bought new batteries and memory cards but everything seemed perfect but when I pressed the button to take a picture but it would not take a picture but a red light next to a little lightning bolt pointing down it would happen ever time I tried to take a picture what should I do?

Best camera on Amazon under $200?

I was trying to get a nice camera for vacations to take pictures and maybe short videos with, not for youtube or anything just personal use. I stumbled upon some like the Nikon COOLPIX L840 and L340 but I'm not sure how good they are. If you have any better suggestions please let me know thank you.

P.S. I need it available on amazon due to my giftcard balance I have on there.
