Can anyone explain the difference between these cameras?

I was wondering if there really is a massive difference between the nikon coolpix s9900 and samsung s4 mobile camera. Obviously the one difference is that one is a proper camera and the other is on your mobile. I want to know if it's worth buying the Nikon. Obviously im not very good with cameras. The last one i had was the samsung L100 which i got maybe about 6 or 7 years ago. It was a present so i didn't spend time choosing it. Im looking to use it for video mostly. Another thing i was wondering is there much difference from the Nikon to the samsung L100 and the L100 to the samsung s4 mobile. Any answer appreciated as i literally have no idea at all.

How to shoot RAW pictures with Nikon Coolpix P510?

I've recently learned one of the biggest (hidden) tip to having great, professional looking pictures is shooting in RAW. According to many website articles, it's said that you have more original file with more details opposed to JPEG.

So how do I shoot in RAW with a Nikon Coolpix P510? Or is that even possible?

Photograph extremely grainy at 3600 ISO setting but?

My photograph which is set at 3600 ISO is really grainy, but when I look at other photographs of the Milky Way on National Geographic or wherever, their ISO is set to 6300 or something like that and it's not the least bit grainy! And I've tried the tools in programs that remove grain and noise; it just makes my photo look blurry, like extremely blurry and un real.

How do I combat this? I have a Nikon Coolpix p510. Photograph extremely grainy at 3600 ISO setting but

Camera flash is off- but now the camera is still adding extra light to pictures somehow?

It's a Nikon Coolpix S33, if that matters. We were testing it out the other day in our dimly lit living room. We turned the flash off and then took a picture of an object. The picture looked like someone was shining a bright flashlight on the object, even though the flash did not go off. Is the camera reducing the shutter speed? A little extra light wouldn't be a big deal, but this was way more than a little extra light, and it ruined the picture. How do we get our camera to stop doing this?

Is My Old Camera Worth Replacing?

I have a really old Canon Powershot (It's a Powershot A1300, I'm not sure they make them anymore). The camera isn't half bad, but I'm getting more into photography, so I want a new one. I'm looking at a Nikon Coolpix, (Specifically the one found here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/nikon-coolpix-l840-16-0-megapixel-digital-camera-plum/3839052.p?id=1219603205365&skuId=3839052) but I wasn't sure if there would be any difference in the quality of my pictures.

Thanks!
