Is a Nikon Coolpix A worth it?
I've been wanting to get a quality compact camera recently, and the Nikon Coolpix A has drawn my attention along with a couple other cameras, but it's main competitors look like the Fuji X100 line and the Ricoh GR II.
How do these cameras compare to each other? Would it make much of a difference buying one over another?
Thanks, -T.

Nikon Coolpix L840 won't turn on consistently?
I've had my Coolpix L840 for about a month or so. It's worked great, no problems until now. However, in the last few days or so it's stopped turning on. When I press the on/off button, the green light will blink a few times, but the camera won't turn on. Sometimes, after I've left it alone for a couple hours or a day or so, it'll turn on one time, but the next time I try it does the same flashing light and not turning on.
There's a small chance a drop of water or two got in the camera (I was taking pictures of a small creek near my house), but I don't think that's what happened.
If I don't get this resolved, I plan to return the camera as it's still within the "90-Day Guarantee." Any ideas on why this is happening or how to fix it?

How to get rid of the glaring light in this photo?
I remember seeing somewhere a photo that a woman edited to see through the light and actually see what was in the window or doorway and her original photo was just completely bright and glared like it is in my own photo here. How do I edit it out like that?
And how do I refrain from even having to edit it and just take a better photo? What settings do I use? The camera I use the most is Nikon Coolpix L100.

Is a Nikon Coolpix L810 good as a starter camera?
I don't want to spend big considering I'm still young, only fifteen, but at least something average. I take mostly artistic self portrait photography with Photoshop editing. Is a Nikon Coolpix L810 enough for that?

Are fujifilm cameras good? - 1
I'm thinking about getting the Fujifilm FinePix S8600 16 MP Digital Camera but I've heard it the brand is bad.
If I don't get that one, I'll probably end up getting the Nikon COOLPIX L810 16.1 MP.
Any recommendations?

How to use my laptop for a viewfinder for my Nikon Coolpix P530?
I'm using it to film videos and it doesn't have a viewfinder that I can see while in front of the camera without just having a mirror behind it and just looking in the mirror. I have a cord to connect it to my laptop but I can't work out if I can connect it to my laptop so that I can see what it sees. Is there anyway to do that, or do external viewfinders exist so that I can see myself while I film, thanks!

How to make a time-lapse with Nikon Coolpix?
I have a Nikon Coolpix L105, and I want to do time-lapses automatically. The camera wont do that right out of the box, and I'm having trouble finding something that would help me with that. I heard that the L105 is the same thing as the L110, minus the HDMI port, so the parts can be interchangable. Ive seen people on youtube make time-lapses with the same camera that I have, so I know its possible. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
