Best inexpensive DSLR camera?

I currently have a little coolpix that i've had for years, but i love using cameras with manual zoom and focus so i can take more artistic pictures. I would love a camera with a removable lens and good quality, but under $500 preferably- I don't need all the "bells and whistles." I was considering the Nikon D3000, any recommendations?

Is my sony vaio dual voltage?

I'm traveling outside the country and I need to take my computer. Where I'm going the voltage is 220 and outlets have two holes for the ones that have two round pins. Now… I'm taking my phone, Camara, and computer… The small box on the powercord for computer says it has an input: 100-220v. Same on the charger for my HTC Evo and Nikon Coolpix. Now fo I need to get a transformer or just the adapter because I dnt wanna risk blowing up my computer.

How to use my (Nikon) camera as a webcam?

I have these cords:
I don't have EasyCAP, and I'm not planning on getting one.
It is a Nikon Coolpix L110.

All I want to know is if I can or can't;
and if I can,
then how?
If I can't, then say so. Don't go all, "OH WELL YOU NEED EASYCAP."

My camera keeps saying battery exhausted!

I have a Nikon Coolpix camera and everytime i put in any battery thats hardly been used it says battery exhausted! Can somebody please help me? ANYTHING to solve this?

My Nikon Coolpix S630 takes blurry pictures?

I noticed that when I zoom in with my camera lately, even just a little, the whole picture turns out really blurry. I reset it to the original factory settings, and it is still blurry. Is there some setting that can fix this?

How to get rid of the blue line on my digital photos?

I have a Nikon Coolpix S550 and recently there has been a blue line on the screen of the camera which also appears on my pictures when I upload them. Is there something wrong with the lens? The screen? What is going on?

Everytime I try to take a picture with my camera it shuts off?

My camera is a Nikon CoolPix L110
I replaced the batteries but that its still happening.
I take the picture and then my camera shuts off, and it doesn't even save the picture.

Nikon Coolpix L19 driver wont install?

When I try Plugging My Camera To my Computer it says Installing Driver.
It Then says Unsuccessfully installed.
I asked this Question once before and Didn't get a Good answer.

So to Clear things Up I do not have an SD Card slot in my Computer and That is not the Answer I need. I do not want alternative methods to Getting the Pictures off of my Camera. I need to Know how I can Use the cord My camera Came with to transfer the Picture from it to My Computer without the Unsuccessfully Installed Driver Message.
(I need The Driver)

Info-
Camera- Nikon Coolpix L19
OS- Windows Vista
Disk- I did install the Disk My Camera Came with Properly
Autoplay-It is not an Autoplay Problem it is a Driver Problem.
