Nikon Coolpix P500 timelapse video?

I own a Nikon Coolpix P500 and this camera is amazing! I love it, now my question is how do you do a timelapse video? I see them on youtube and they are using the P500 and they look amazing. I am not a camera wiz, so please be specific on how to do a timelapse video. This camera is just like a point and shoot but with a little kick to it! So please help, from the camera options I would have to adjust, to the video editing software. I have a Sony Vaio with windows vista, and it has windows movie maker, duh! So please help, thanks(:

I took a memorable picture on my Nikon Coolpix AW120 and accidentally used fireworks scene mode. It s blurry and you can barely make out the objects and figures. Is there anyway I can change it or locate one without effects?

So i just bought it and its comes with batteries( i forgot to check also because it was low price), is there anyway i can charge it s i wont keep having to buy batteries?

Also is this a good camera, i recently found a love for taking photos of nature and stuff like that. Should i buy another camera or stick with this one?

How much could I sell a Nikon L830 For?

I'm curious on how much I could sell my Nikon Coolpix L830 camera for? I want to sell it to save up for a Nikon D5100. My Nikon right now is in prefect condition, no visible scratches, although I misplaced the USB and HDMI cord. Any ideas for a price I could sell it online? Does elevation affect cameras?

I was in the adirondacks and when i reached the peak of the mountain my camera, a nikon coolpix L120, would not completely open the shutter so you were seeing some of it in your view angle. Is this just a coincidences as i was told a Best Buy or does an elevation increase affect cameras?

Nikon COOLPIX P600 vs Sony Alpha NEX 3N (or Alpha A5000)?

Which one would you recommend? I want to get a camera for making youtube vlog videos (mostly me sitting in front of the camera talking), but also a camera that we can use as a family for photos. These both look like good choices to me and are in my price range. What would your recommendation be? Do you have any experience with any of these cameras?

PS. A lot of people asked me why am I not getting a camcorder instead. I feel like this is sort of a compromise between a camera for photos and a camcorder. Also getting a camcorder in the same quality would cost much more from what I've heard.

PS2. No I probably won't have the money to buy myself an SLR… Do you think the quality will be THAT much worse?
