Why won't my Nikon Coolpix S4000 charge?

I lost the cord and charger to my camera. When my battery died I borrowed a charger and used it with a phone charger that has a USB port. The charge light flashes like seven times and then quits. I ordered a new cord and battery. When I tried to charge the new battery it does the same thing. I was reading a little about it and remembered that the camera has a setting to charge on a computer or use the plug in to the outlet.My question is, will it charge the way I'm doing it? And if it is set to charge on an outlet will it charge any other way.Is there something wrong with my camera or do I need to order the thing that plugs into the wall? If I order the outlet charger will that fix my problem?

What cameras can upload DIRECTLY to facebook?

Looking to get a mothers day gift, the camera she wants is one that can upload directly to facebook. But she also wants it to be a long zoom camera, like the NIKON P520 or similar. From what I've looked up there are no cameras that are similar to that and upload directly to facebook.

Anybody know of one, or something with at least good image quality and a decent zoom, something like the Nikon Coolpix S9500, but that can upload directly to facebook?

Nikon Coolpix L310 help?

So, I've recently bought the Nikon Coolpix L310, and I was hoping to use it for movies, and photography. But, I cannot find how to change the shutter speed. I've tried playing about with it but I don't know where to change it. Help? :/

Ok.so it was working for a few weeks or so and then one day it wouldn't turn on. I held the power button and nothing happened.does anybody know what is wrong with my camera?

How to Get Photos Off Digital Camera?

I have a Nikon Coolpix L100 and I'm trying to get the photos off of it. I took some pictures WITHOUT a memory card in it and can't seem to find the files when I plug my camera into the computer via USB. How do I get these photos off?

First, some humbling self ownership

i WAS going to get the Nikon D7100, but after checking it out at Best Buy i now realize i would be way, Way, WAY in over my head

it had more buttons than an f22, and just as heavy lol

i am good with tech but it would take me way more time to get any real usage out of it than i am willing to pit in

okay, i like to ride around on my bike (bicycle) and take pics of things so i need one that is light, easy to use, but has a nice array of features and quality

so i was looking at the Nikon coolpix p520 and the Sony aps-c

with all that said, which do you think would be best for me?

Nikon Coolpix P310: What settings will improve the appearance of the sky in my photos?

At the link below, I have uploaded three shots where the sky is either completely washed out, or has far less definition than it should. All were taken on the same day, which was partly cloudy. I was in Auto mode. What settings/options can I use to make these pictures look better? Thanks!

Does the Nikon Coolpix S4000 and S4100 camera use the same charging cord?

I bought a usb charging cord which was said to be for the S4000 camera, and it did not fit.It did however fit in my other camera which is a S4100. The company I bought it from says that it should fit both of them because they both use the same cable.Is this true? If so.why wouldn't it fit into my first one?
