What laptop should I buy with these requirements?

I need a laptop for work travel. Any suggestions please.It needs to fulfill the below.

· Run multiple applications, like Word, Adobe, all Microsoft apps, Nikon Coolpix and similar editing programs for my pics

· Is going to allow me to download onto a HDD at least up to 500 pics from every visit (they will be backed up at the end of each visit and removed)

· Can let me watch vids, play music, etc

· Has internet, wi-fi, all the mod cons

· Has got to be very durable and tough (I go to some god awful places)

· Has got to have a battery life of up to 4 hours

· Has got to have a good hi-def screen if possible for photos

· Looks good

Need help choosing between these Bridge cameras?

Hello, I am looking for a budget ( around 150GBP / 175EUR/ 230USD) camera. I am not much into cameras so I don't need a DSLR. I just need a good camera for upcoming trips with plenty of zoom and stuff to play with. Also I take photos and videos of fish (in aquariums) very often so I need something that will take a clear photo of (slowing) moving objects. I narrowed down my options to:

Without babysitting or dog walking and lemonade stands because its still freezing outside… so ya and I am saving up for a Nikon L310 I don't care if the Nikon L310 in your opinion is a bad camera but whatever lol I don't want my mom paying for the camera and I don't want to go over 200$ cause I'm a cheap *** don't judge me! Nikon s6300 camera frozen?

My Nikon s6300 coolpix will turn on but once it's on it is completely frozen with a black screen and you can't even turn it off without removing the battery. We've already tried connecting it to the PC, leaving the battery out for a few minutes, and removing the SD card. Anybody run into this problem before? Any ideas on how ton fix it?

JPEG Size 12 X 8 NIKON L 120?

My Nikon L120 takes pictures at 4320 X 3240 pixels. When I want to resize these pictures the size becomes 12 X 9. But I want to resize picture to 12 X 8 or 6 X 4 without any damage to picture proportion. I am using adobe photoshop CS 3. Please guide me how can I resize picture to 12 X 8 or 6 X 4without any distortion.

I'm not able to open this video I took on my camera?

I have a Nikon CoolPix camera. I took a video thats about 11 minutes or so long. I try to play it on Windows Media PLayer and I get a message that says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
But I also have videos that are like 3 minutes long, and those play just fine.

How can I get these longer videos to play?
Added (1). I've installed VLC and it still will not play. I even tried Quicktime.It just won't play…
