I want to film a bonfire scene at night. What would be the best way to do this?

I need to know the best time of the day and/or techniques so that you can see the people around the fire but it still looks dark. I'm using a Nikon Coolpix L810

Problem with my camera (Nikon coolpix s3000)?

I have nikon coolplix s3000. We purchased it in 2009 (something between August and September)
There has never been any problem with it and it worked perfectly fine the last few days but since the day before yesterday, it is not turning on… its battery was low but not completely exhausted! when we plug it to the charger or to the computer the battery light just blinks twice or thrice and then nothing happens.the computer shows the camera icon but it doesn't open!
What is the problem with it?

Which one of these cameras should I buy?

Hi!
I am planning on buying a new camera; however I am not sure which one of these two is better; Nikon CoolPix AW100 or Sony DSC-TX20.
I want the camera to be waterproof, but the picture quality also has to be excellent and the camera should be good at focusing (especially macro). Also, the video recording must be good quality.
So, I am asking your opinion, which one of these would you choose and why?

How to get a press pass for an All Time Low show?

I'm in love with photography and my dream is to take pictures of All Time Low from in front of the barricade, I just don't know how I would able to get a pass to do so. I'm not a professional photographer! I have a Nikon Coolpix L100 camera. I always see people taking pictures with HUGE cameras so I didn't know if you have to have a camera with extra lenses or what? Also I didn't know if you had to get the pass from the venue or something.So if you have any idea please let me know!

My Nikon l810 flash isnt working!

I have had my nikon l810 16mp a few months and the flash has given up! it made a loud snapping noise like a bang then wont work at all? anyone had similar problems?

Problems with wndows movie maker. Again!

I have a Nikon Coolpix S9050 and uploaded my videos on the computer onto movie maker. Of course the videos show up with a big exclamation point in a yellow triangle telling me the file is corrupted. I wanted to edit these videos badly, but can't now! Also, I tried fixing them and it just wouldn't work.My computer is an HP and is really getting on my nerves. Please help me out!!!
