Which is the best camera i can get?

I've been looking for a camera and doing some research but I need some help… I'm not a photographer but I'm thinking in studying it and i want to take pics as professional as possible with a camera that is not a DSR because i really cant afford it now… so in my price range i find this options… which one is the better?
Nikon Coolpix P950 or 510
Canon Powershot SX500
Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H200 Digital Camera (i dont like the kind of battery it has but it's 20.1 megapixels!!!)

Why won't my camera lens close?

I have a Nikon s800c, and one day, when i went to turn it off, the lens would'nt close all the way.Is there anyway to fix this?
-i dont remember dropping it, it just wouldnt close one day.

How to get my parents to buy men a good quality camerA?

I have a strong interest in photography. I love talking pictures wherever I go and I'm thinking of turing it into a career. The only camera I have is the Nikon Coolpix S70.At the time when this camera came out I don't know much about cameras. I was 13 or 14 at that time. I chose this camera because my dad uses Nikon digital camera and this one has a touch screen. Now I regret buying it.

When I grew up I started getting more into photography. I see many people taking amazing photos and most of them use DSlR I want to be like them.

My dad doesn't think I need a perfessional camera to take photos. He knows I love taking photos but doesn't think I know how to use it properly. He also doesn't want me to damage it because its expensive. I did tell him I want to be a photographer one day and if I have a good quality camera I can have something to show the photographers.No matter what I say, my dad keeps thinking i'm finding ways to get him to buy me one. He just can't seem to understand how much I really want to be a photographer.

The camera I was thinking of getting is Sony Alpha NEX-6. I know it's not as good as a DSLR camera but its also a good camera, easy to travel with and can change lens.

Is it possible to fix my nikon coolpix 5700?

A friend of mine accidentally dropped it, and it hit the lens housing.there is no scratch on the lens, but i cannot zoom in or out, and the camera has a hard time retracting the lens when you turn it off.someone suggested that it's probably the motor inside the lens that's damaged.if so, is it possible to fix it?

Choosing a digital camera? - 1

Photography Profitable?

Hey Everyone, So I got a new camera… The Nikon Coolpix L820 and it takes amazing pictures, but I've been thinking… If I could get low cost frames, would I be able to print out big full HD prints of my pictures, frame them, and sell them online? Thanks!

What is İSO Beginner photographer?

Well in university I'm going to take photography as a extra circular activity. (İn Turkey they have it, don't plan on making it my profession) but I want to learn stuff About cameras before starting the class.and I am slowly starting but I am having trouble, I have a Nikon L120 at the moment, and plan on either getting a Pentax k30(I think its a bridge camera) or a Nikon v1(milc) and I can't figure out what ISO means, and I would look online but I have a easier time learning from others, so can someone please explain to me in a nice and detailed version rather than giving me a wiki link?

Help using Nikon Coolpix AW110 abroad?

Nikon coolpix AW110 WiFi connectivity won't work abroad on WMU wireless mobile utility.any help trying to upload photos to internet, mobile phone won't pick up camera.
