A-Level Photography: Nikon D3200 or P510?

I'm looking for a camera for starting my A-Level Photography course in September and have pretty much settled on these two cameras - but i'm really stuck between them.
I've gone through many reviews and most say that the d3200 will be better, I would however only be using the 18-55 lens it comes with for now, as I don't have the money to buy another at this time.
I'm actually really interested in macro photography however, and can't seem to find anything showing how these both perform at it. Also one thing that worries me about the p510 is the fact that you can only have as low as 4 sec shutter speed, and I often enjoy taking photos with longer shutter speeds to create light trails.
As you can see, there's pluses and minuses for both. Some are reccomending the d3200, yet others are saying i'd be better off with a bridge camera.

What setting is appropriate for a concert?

I am going to a concert in June and I have the Nikon Coolpix L810 and I was wondering, which setting I should use for a concert? There is: portrait, landscape, sports, night portrait, party/indoor, beach, snow, sunset, dusk/dawn, night landscape, close-up, food, museum, fireworks show, black and white copy, backlighting, panorama assist, pet portrait, and 3D photography. I just got this camera for Christmas and I am still getting used to it, I'm excited to be able to take pictures of my favorite band with my amazing camera. Thank you all and have a great day. :)

Nikon Coolpix L100 Sound Problem?

Hi there. I have a Nikon Coolpix L100 and i was wondering if anyone here can help me out with a problem i have run in to. Whenever i record a video the quality is fine but the sound doesnt work. All; i get in sound is a white noise type of sound like a "shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" It was louder and then i changed the batteries and it just got quieter. You cannot hear any noise besides that one unless you scream into the mic. And its still quiet. Any answers are helpful.

Can i download pictures from my Nikon Coolpix aw100 without the software?

I have a nikon aw100, i got it from my dad and he lost his software disc.Im in college so i cant really fly to his house all the time to use his computer.can i download pictures to my pc without the software download?

Nikon D800 vs Hasselblad H4D-40 vs Leica S2?

These are my options as my next upgrade. Please spare the thought about "The camera doesn't make the photo" I know that. I just want finalized feedback on which I should upgrade to!

Okay so keep in mind, the Nikon D800 is $2, 500 and has okay lenses for $800 - $1500

The Hasselblad, from my understanding, has the best sensor, and costs about $8, 000 (With a good 80mm, which is like 50mm when on a medium format I believe), the lenses are in between the quality of the Nikons and Leica lenses

Then, the Leica S2 is about $13, 000, and has by far the best lenses with the smoothest, creamiest bokeh, but the lenses are easily 4x more expensive than both hasselblad and nikon lenses.

Keep in mind, I make $1, 600 of spare money to spend on leisure per month and I'm also thinking about upgrading my car to a Nissan 350z and my computer set up will be taking a hefty upgrade soon, hopefully, now that the Oculus Rift is coming.

I would like thoughts on which I should spend my earnings on. Thanks for any help!:)
Added (1). By the way, I'm 17 and my main occupation is as a photographer. I already have money saved towards a place of my own and college, so don't mention this please.

My Nikon Coolpix S4100 is having an issue. HELP?

Okay, so my Nikon Coolpix S4100 is being really weird. I left it on, and left for a minute or two, and when I came back, the lens had half retracted, not fully closed, but not fully open either. Now it won't turn on, even after being charged for hours. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in. HELP ME PLEASEEEE

How to Transport video from Digital Camera to pc?

Okay so Im trying to get videos from my Nikon CoolPix L810 and Im plugging up the plug that connects to the computer to the camera and its not working..How exactly do you do this? I also put the CD that came in with it, and its still not working. I just need step by step solutions, and things you will need to complete the task. Thanks!<3:)

Why won't my Nikon Coolpix P500 take any pictures on a fully charged battery?

It seems suddenly that my camera will not take any pictures. When I press the shutter button it will try to focus and then when I try to take the picture nothing happens and I am unable to take the shot. I have gone into the settings and used 'reset' just in case I've adjusted something, but still it will not work.

I then tried taking a picture with each setting and managed to take some pictures when I chose 'Backlighting' and with the flash raised. But now that doesn't work.So I tried all the settings again and managed to take a picture on P- mode. Now that doesn't work. Any idea what is going on?

Hello! Photography has just started to interest me a lot, and today I took a few photos and edited them.
I'd really like opinions and constructive criticism to improve my photography skills!
Also, these were all taken with my iPhone 4.My dad says if I'm really interested in photography he will buy me a reasonably priced camera for me to start out with.So do you have any cameras you would recommend? (:
I have a Nikon Coolpix S220 at the moment, which I've had for a few years.Is this an okay camera to use until I get more serious about photography?

Nikon p520? Is it better than p510?

So I've looked into both the 510 is 399 the 520 is 450 is the wifi and 18 mp really a huge difference or worth the extra 50 I mean how much will the extra 2mp help the resolution? I also am open to additions like If you know any other advancemt the p520 has compared to the 510 pls state them
