Do i need a SD card in order to record at 720p?

My mom bought me a Nikon Coolpix S3300 and it's a awesome camera but i want to record and take pics in HD 720p. I checked out the menu and found it but it was disabled, i couldn't enable it. Right now the quality is on VGA (640x480) and it's pretty crappy, lol.

I'm supposed to be getting a SD card tomorrow so hopefully it'll work.

Also, can any type of SD card fit in the camera ?

How to format my SD Memory Card for a Nikon L810 Camera?

I have a new Nikon L810 digital camera, and have just fired it up. A new SD card is is in the camera. Upon startup, the screen tells me the card is not formatted and asks if I want it formatted. I select "Yes", and receive the normal warning that any information on the card will be deleted (no problem). I move forward, the screen displays the message "formatting card", and then everything repeats in an unending cycle.

Memory card advice for a camera?

Hi folks. Just bought my daughter a Nikon P510 for Christmas and forgot to get a memory card to go with it. When I check them online there are 100's of different types of the buggers lol. Obviously I know about size (prob need an 8 or 16gb) but I'm a bit stuck after that. Does any standard memory card work? There are ones in Maplins for about a tenner up to £80 or £100… No point paying that if a tenner will do the same job but obviously I'm missing the point???

Are SnowFlakes too fast for a Digital Camera to photograph?

.
I have a Nikon S4100 ( not the best, but )

If I used my "old' Pentax Manual camera -- I WOULD GET THIS PIC <frustrated>

I'm looking for "Just' a little more, than Yes or No, for this.

Whether or not those are accurate answers -- I'd rather Delete this Q, than be treated like
"JARRAD' just did to me.
