What are the best settings for a Nikon Coolpix L26?

I just got one for my dad, wanted the best settings possible to take good pictures.

Point and shoot camera arround 300-400 euros?

I am planning on buying a point and shoot camera.
I want a camera with a satisfying zoom, fast shutter speed, a good macro, and manual controls.
I also like the viewfinders, manual zooms and generally dslr lookalikes but picture quality is my first concern. Also, I'm not quite interested in things like GPS, wifi and stuff, although most of the models I've seen are equipped with things like these.
My budget is at about 300 euros, but there are a few specific models over that price which I can get with a discount and are in my budget.
the models I've seen and look like they fit my needs are:

How to start Windows AutoPlay to download photos from camera?

I can't download the photos from my Nikon Coolpix camera into my HP Pavillion g7 laptop. I have Windows 7 installed and have Photoshop 9 software also. This is a new system for me but the Windows AutoPlay isn't showing the dialog box with "options" the instructions mention. I think I ENABLED the Windows AutoPlay. Can you give me some suggestions to download the photos? I don't want to take any more pictures until I can download what is already in my camera. Thank You!

So many Nikon Cameras?

I want to get a camera to shoot people, places, silhouettes etc etc.but I have seen so many cameras out there I don't know which one to get. I'm pretty much a beginner so I don't know which one will work best for me. I now own the Nikon Colpix S8100.It takes very decent pictures but I want more.As of right now I've liked Nikon 3200 because its 23MP. What a dilemma right? Well if anyone can help me out I will appreciate it :)

I want a fulll version of microsoft word.not trial or any of that bullshlt.
Also good capabilities.like watching 1080 HD videos without lagging and the ability to edit HD videos. Just like at home for YouTube use.not major editing stuff.but i have a Nikon aw100 and i want to be able to edit the HD videos, and even watch them without lagging and all that like my Acer does.
Also i like the netbook size.but i want something a little bigger. But i dont want a monstor laptop.im spoiled with the smaller size one.

Price isnt much aof a problem but no like 7-8-9-1000 ones… Cheaper the better but dont give me all $600 ones because i dont need a $600 one obviously

Which is a better camera? Nikon L810 or Fujifilm S4500?

I'm looking to buy either of these two cameras. I am not aiming at professional photography, but would still like to take the occasional macro. The video quality should be good, as I sometimes take videos that may stretch out over 20 minutes. Also, there shouldn't be any shutter lag.
