Hi, photo enthusiasts. :)
I need your advice on what camera to buy my boyfriend for Valentine's Day.
I'm trying to find something that will:
1. Be portable enough that he won't have to carry around a camera bag or feel like he can't take casual photography.
2. Take high quality photos and help him have flexibility in learning about photography -- hence why I don't really just want to get a point-and-shoot.
3. Not be too intimidating, price-wise (It's not like I'm going to show him the price tag, but I don't want him to feel uncomfortable about getting this gift)
4. He has mentioned wanting a camera that takes normal batteries because his family has had issues with camera batteries dying… But I don't think they make anything beyond a point-and-shoot with normal, changeable batteries, correct?
He's not really much of a photographer right now, but he has mentioned wanting to get into it.
