Nikon S2550 upload pics?

I have inherited a Nikon Coolpix S2550, with no cables or info and having bought a charger and suitable usb cable online am having trouble uploading the photos from the camera on to my laptop. I have made sure that the settings are correct for updates on my laptop, and the cable is specifically for my camera, but it just says that it has 'failed' (I have windows 7 by the way).Im not sure what to do next?

Photography Advice And Editing?

I am a 13 year old boy, and I love photography. I have a Nikon Cool Pix P510. I don't really have a specific question, but really just some advice or tricks. Also editing, My family has a Mac and PC, so I have many editing choices.So any tricks for the camera or editing.
P.S. I don't mean like taking pictures of people or anything, but like pictures for art :)

Why is my Nikon Coolpix s6300 not turning back on?

I was in new York taking pictures and it died.so when i got back to the hotel i charged it for the night and the next morning it just wouldn't turn on.the lens are still in too :/ i tried taking out the memory card and battery and everything.

My Nikon Coolpix s570 won't do anything!

I got this camera for Christmas and it worked great up until about a month ago.As the battery was getting low, I plugged it in to charge. Now, it won't do anything. Won't turn on. Won't make a noise, or a light, or anything.

I'm assuming it is no longer a dead battery as I've charged it.

So what is going on?

Oh, and it was purchased at Best Buy… is there any chance I can just take it in and get a working one? Would I need the receipt or just everything that came with it? (It was a gift)

What's a good cheap photography camera for flowers?

I got a Nikon Coolpix L810 for my birthday. I did some searching on what people thought of it and they all said youre really just paying for the name and its a standard digital camera. I take lots of photos of close up flowers and nature. Well before i could try it out, it broke. Its now being fixed so i havent got to try it out yet. I was wondering what you guys thought about it and if i should keep it or get a different camera. If so, im not really loaded with money.Im looking within a price rangeof $200-$300. Thanks! (:

Nikon l26 or l27>? which one is best?

Hey guys… i'm confused with these two models of low budget camera for casual use..first of all, the question about NIKON, is it the best?,… l27 is newer (Jan, 2013) and cheaper than l26 and also have attractive colour (purple) … i, myself prefer l27 but i wanted to be sure i'm choosing the right one for the price… are these cameras good… or can someone suggest me some other camera (canon, sony) in this price range?

My Nikon Coolpix L820 won't turn on?

My camera turned on earlier with a beep and I put pictures onto the computer. But now when I turned it on, it doesn't and the lens budge slightly. I'm freaking out right now, please help. What's going on?
