Can you manually change the aperture on a L310 Nikon coolpix?

I have a few questions that never seem to get answered abut the L310… Since I was unable to get the Nikon D3100 or the Canon rebel t3i I was blessed to receive The L310… Now I know that this camera is not a DSLR which is what I originally wanted but i have been reading that this camera does have lens extensions.Is this true? and can I manually change the aperture and shutter speed on the L310?

What type of batteries are these?

I have four Rayovac Hybrid rechargeable batteries (2100 mAh NiMH) which I've used on my point and shoot camera for a while now.

I just purchased a new camera that has a setting for batteries,
1 - Alkaline
2 - Coolpix (Ni-MH)
3 - Lithium

Which setting should I use for those Rayovac batteries?

My Nikon S9300 camera will not read any of my SD cards that used to work in it?

Earlier today my sister decided to put her memory card from her camera into my one. Ever since she has done that, now any memory card I put into my camera pops up with an error message saying that it is not compatible or cannot be read. Both my memory cards worked fine before that and I didnt have any problems. I have formatted both memory cards now, reset the camera and formatted its memory and the same error messages keep popping up when I insert them. Please help me because Im going overseas tomorrow and really need my camera.

My Nikon coolpix l810 will only record for 30 seconds?

The user guide only says "to record video simply press the red dot." And the settings have nothing on changing duration. How can I fix this

Why wont my Nikon coolpix P500 take pictures?

So I have a Nikon Coolpix P500 and till last month it was working fine. Then these two months it stopped taking pictures. I try to take one and it focuses but it doesn't take pictures.It records videos but no pictures. :/ What is wrong with it?

Looking at cameras and found these two that I liked in my price range. I wanted to look at picture quality, but I was unable. Which is better as in: faster shutter speed, picture quality, auto focus? I take a lot of pictures and I need a good camers.
