Nikon coolpix s3100 camera's broke/won't charge :?

This is a newish camera, last timei used it was when i went away for a couple of days with my boyfriend, i always charge it on my laptop, so i tired to and nothing happend and it didnt connect.so i put the same usb wire into the plug in wall charger and its still not working :( i dont really want to buy another charger until i know i have too so i dont waste money, anyone know why this is happening?

My Coolpix Nikon L100 Lens is not opening?

I didn't do anything to it. Like, ten minutes before it was working fine, then it suddenly wouldn't.Is there a quick restart thing that I can use a pen to push on and it restarts the camera? Or is there any other way I could get it to open?

My Nikon Coolpix 12.0 megapixels wide 4x zoom 2.7 inch LCD camera is refusing to turn on?

My Nikon Coolpix 12.0 mega pixels wide 4x zoom 2.7 inch LCD camera is refusing to turn on. I have a USB cord that came with my Nikon camera what it does is it charges my camera when i plug it in my computer. And when i do that the only thing that i can see that works is there is a small squiggly arrow that is pointing down on the back of my camera and next to it there is a green light that flashes so i'm guessing that means charging but i don't think it should be flashing it should just be a green light glowing, i think it might just be TRYING to charge the camera but its not working. Usually when it goes dead and i plug it up i can turn it on while its charging but this time its NOT turning on at all.So I was wondering if anyone can tell me what to do or if i should just go take it to a shop and if so how much will it be to fix it because im kinda saving up lol thank you so much :)

Nikon L120 setting advice in gym?

I have a feeling that I'm out of luck on this. Normally this is a great little camera and takes awesome shots just on auto settings. However, I tried every preprogrammed setting I could and still ended up with grainy shots. They don't need to be action shots, although some of the better shots came out under the action/sports setting. Obviously I'm not a photographer… just trying to get some decent pics of my kids. Also a "good" camera is a bit out of the budget. Any suggestions to improve the quality? Again… not looking for professional shots here, but what I ended up with looks like I took it with a 1980s 110 camera.

A good Digital SLR camera for under 500?

I have recently fell in love with photography, and I really want to get started because I love it. I was using a friends Nikon Coolpix P90 for a while, and love that camera. I want a camera like that one. Any camera's like that under $500. I preferably would like one of the brand names with a better rep, (Canon, Nikon etc.) Any good ones out there?

Nikon P510 1080p and 1080p star, what's the difference?

On the Nikon P510, there are 2 1080p shooting modes, 1080p and 1080p with a star. What is the difference between the two and will there be an affect on the time it takes to upload them on to youtube?

Nikon S9300 GPS trouble. No satellite lock?

I can't get the GPS on my Nikon s9300 to work. I use the camera for work, and need to know the exact location of most shots. Currently my only workaround is to carry a garmin, and take a photo of it after every shot… Very annoying

I've updated the A-GPS data in the camera, i made sure GPS is enabled in the options, and I shoot outdoors with clear view of the sky… Still no luck. The GPS icon on the screen never changes from red, no satellite lock.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?

By the way, if it matters, I'm in Europe… but GPS should be global, right?
