My Nikon coolpix s610 is not taking pictures?

I just got a Nikon coolpix s610 and I bought new batteries and memory cards but everything seemed perfect but when I pressed the button to take a picture but it would not take a picture but a red light next to a little lightning bolt pointing down it would happen ever time I tried to take a picture what should I do?

Best camera on Amazon under $200?

I was trying to get a nice camera for vacations to take pictures and maybe short videos with, not for youtube or anything just personal use. I stumbled upon some like the Nikon COOLPIX L840 and L340 but I'm not sure how good they are. If you have any better suggestions please let me know thank you.

P.S. I need it available on amazon due to my giftcard balance I have on there.

I'm looking at getting a new camera, POWERSHOT SX30, COOLPIX B500 or a Rebel T5. Current sales at the PX have them at the same price for me

Replacing battery door of my Nikon Coolpix L6?

So long story short, I thought my friend was holding onto the camera when I let go- she wasn't. My camera dropped down onto the cement parking lot floor and [luckily] all that happened was the guide for the batter door busted off.
The door still latches shut, it just pops up in a spot since the guide isn't there. Someone told me I could just replace the front end of the camera it would be fixed, but how much exactly would that cost? I've gotten use to having it broken but I have to get it fixed eventually right? I just want to know an average.

Nikon camera power up problem. Camera technicians?

My friend gave me his old Nikon coolpix p530 and it was working before it ran out of battery. I charged it for the first time with this ac cord thingy. That's what me friend gave me to charge it with. Whenever I try to turn it on the screen just flashes but then it turns off again

when shooting videos, there's HD option and HS option… Whats the HS option for? What does it do?

Camera keeps turning on and off

I have a Nikon coolpix l820 and It won't stop turning on and off constantly. I tried changing the batteries from rechargeable to non rechargeable etc. And same problem it will turn on as soon as I put the batteries in then turn off then turn on etc. Anyone ever have his problem? Is there a way to fix it?

How long it takes for Nikon en-el5 battery to charge?

i just got a nikon coolpix p500 (my first ever camera so i'm a newbie to all of this)… I fear having the battery overcharged or undercharged… So i would really like to know how long should i leave it on to charge?
