About two years ago I bought a nikon coolpix S3000 and it stopped working last summer. It would say battery exhausted but when I charged it for hours it still wouldn't turn on. Not sure why it's not working.help please?

Which waterproof rugged camera?

I'm looking for a waterproof camera for an upcoming trip to Spain. I've looked around some, and am hoping to get one for under $200. I'm no professional photographer or photo enthusiast, although I am looking for good picture quality.
So far, I'm leaning towards the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS25, but I am also considering the cheaper Panasonic DMC-TS30. Is it worth it to go with the more expensive TS25? What are the benefits?
I have also looked into the Nikon Coolpix S32. I realize this camera is geared more towards young people, but it can go farther under water (33 feet instead of 23) and seems to offer similar features at a far lower price. If I were to choose this camera, would I be sacrificing photo quality, and if so how much?
If there are better choices for value or quality with similar features under $200, what are they and what are their advantages?

What does it mean when your cameras memory card says write protected?

I have a Nikon Coolpix camera & after I put my memory card into my laptop to look at them, when I put it back into my camera, it won't take pictured and it just says 'Memory card is write protected.' What happened to it?

How much it will cost to unjam a lens?

I have a Nikon coolpix L18! I was at a friends house and he smacked my camera out of my hands and made it fall lens down on a wood floor! Now the lens is jammed and wont go in or out! So the only solution is to take it in and get it fixed! How much do you think that will cost!

What s a good cheap camera with an auto focus (for fashion photography)?

I take pictures of myself for my etsy vintage shop, a lot of the process requires running between the camera and my setup (usually just a blank white wall) and trusting my coolpix L120 to focus on me enough to have a good shot.

The pictures often come out dark, even with a modest lighting setup (cheapish but functional umbrella stands and what not). I try to use a program (picasa) to brighten them up, but then they look grainy.

I know a lot of it is not my cameras fault, but are there any cameras with a good auto focus that pick up light really well? Preferably under $500. And any other tips or tricks would be appreciated!

Difference between Telephoto Zoom and Macro lense?

So i'm trying to get a DSLR camera for my personal use. Its either a Canon EOS Rebel T5i or Nikon D5300. I know that the lenses that come with it is good for normal pictures and minimal extra uses. But I also want to get another lens that is better for one purpose. I like the idea of telephoto zoom, but I use macro heavily on my current digital camera (Nikon Coolpix L110). I use the camera mostly for zoomed in photos or close objects. I also use it for some portraits and landscapes. Which is better for my usage? And my price range for the lenses is 350 dollars max.
