Help Choosing Camera for Uploading Art?

I've been reading up on what cameras are best for taking pictures of art works, as it seems much preferable to scanning. I found a camera I like in a price range I can live with that has a lot of the features listed, but the one issue is it doesn't take pictures in RAW format. Is RAW format really very important for uploading art? Other than this it seems like the perfect model. Added (1). PS, forgot to mention, but I am an amateur artist, not a professional; while taking professional quality would be great, I can live with less; the main things for me are that 1. The colors are pretty close to the original 2. The image is sharp and 3. The image is smooth, without any pixelization.

My camera won't focus!

I have a Nikon Coolpix S210.
When you turn it on the lens comes out and I think it turned on in my bag. It will no longer focus and when I turn it on it just buzzes and says "Lens error".
Please help!
I'd rather just buy a new camera than having to get it repaired.

My camera won't work?!

I've got a Nikon coolpix and I've just put in some new batteries as I havnt used it in a while. I turned it on and when I press the camara button it turns of and say 'batteries exhausted" help

Nikon Coolpix P500 Shallow Depth of Field?

Hi there:) so I have a Nikon Coolpix P500 and I want to take a picture with a shallow depth of field. Basically I want to take a picture of a shoe and have the background blurry. I have tried experimenting with a couple different f-stop numbers, but I haven't been able to really see a difference. I was just hoping someone could explain to me, step by step, how to get a shallow depth of field in my picture. Thank you so much! This is a new camera and I don't really know quite how to use it yet, so please explain everything in detail.

My NIkon Coolpix P520 won't turn on?

I was taking pictures with my NIKON Coolpix P520 and I got the message that my battery was exhausted. I tried my spare battery, but the camera wouldn't come on. I assumed it was dead too. I charged both batteries and the camera won't turn on with either of them. When I try to charge a battery in the camera, the light on the on button comes on, it beeps, and the charging light flashes slowly. But even after charging, the camera still won't turn on. Any suggestions? Thanks.

How can my camera screen show on my computer screen?

I have an Nikon coolpix l120. I want to record a video on my digital camera but I want to be able to see what my camera is recording by looking on the computer screen. How can I do this, do i need to download something? Or is it even not possible. Thankss.
