Nikon coolpix L105 camera turns off when I try to take a picture?

I have already reset the memory card but it still turns off when I try to capture photos.

Is it possible to use an external microphone with a Nikon coolpix L105 camera?

USB and/or Jack micrphones

If so how will I be able to connect it? And with what?
Added (1). Once you get the external microphone how will you make it the default or at least make it "work"

(by work I mean it being used instead of the built in mic)

My pictures aren't going into my computer (Nikon Coolpix S210)?

I already installed the software and it says to plug in the camera and it will automatically go in, but nothing happens when i do. What do i do? Although i didn't download quicktime, did I need that?

Best way to get got shots of a baseball game at night with nikon coolpix p510?

I've only went to a game during the day and took really awesome pictures with my p510 specifically with the great zoom feature that allows you to get shots that look like you're right there. The ball game is tonight at 7 and will get dark half way through the game. So my question, what is the best mode/ setting with my camera that i can get pictures at night at an outiside game. Usually night portraits expect you to "raise the flight" (night landscape) however i find that's a poor idea usually that has an hour glass of loading time after taking the picture and not to mention the exposure is poor when doing that. The field will be bright as well. But i'm looking not to have any glare. When i had taken pictures during the day, i had it on Sports mode where the camera takes multiple pictures at once until you got your best shot. Was thinking about doing the same but since it's night time don't know what exactly to do being i've never had taken live action shots at night. Thanks if you can help!

Lens hood/Filter kit for Pentax X-5?

Ive been searching around and noticed there is almost no Lens hood/Filter kits for Bridge cameras but noticed a few select models do have Adapter kits for them such as a Nikon(http://www.ebay.com/itm/LENS-ADAPTER-FILTER-SET-NIKON-COOLPIX-L820-62MM-KIT-/330904438399) But what im wondering is if there is one for the Pentax X-5, as i have bought a lens hood and some filters off of amazon that were specifically labeled as being FOR this camera yet were clearly not (returned and notified amazon of the false advertising in the title as it was from Polaroid /resellers)

My lens states:
SMC Pentax lens 4.0mm - 104mm(top of lense text)
26x wide optical zoom 16megapixel (lower lens text)

I did however attempt to measure it and found when on full extension the inner barrel is around a 45mm width, while the outter barrel connected to the main camera body was around a 60mm.

Im not entirely sure what im looking out for but if anyone has a lens hood they reckon should fit or a adapter kit they can link too itd be brilliant as i am new to photography and got this bridge camera as a introduction into photography so that when i do move up to DSLR at some point i can give this camera to a family member.

Nikon Coolpix L820 flash not working?

So I recently got this camera for my birthday and fir the first day everything was working perfectly, flash included but in another day after I popped the flash up and tried to take a picture, a red light began to flash beside the flash icon on the picture taking side of the camera. I have tried turning the camera off, removing the batteries, changing the flash mode but nothing is working. Any reason as to why and how I can fix this problem?

Nikon Coolpix p500 trouble?

I've had this Nikon camera for years and I lost the charger and it's been dead for like 2 years. I just got a new charger today and the power button is suppose to flash to indicate that it's charging. Mine isn't flashing and it's been hooked up to the charger for about a hour. I think my camera is broken. Any suggestions as to how I might be able to fix this?

How to record longer than 36 seconds on the NOKIA Coolpix L820 camera?

Whenever I record videos on this camera, It shows a little timer at the bottom right side of the camera screen and when that timer ends the recording stops. I am not sure what I am doing right since I've been hitting the red recording button and the same exact button to stop recording,

Nikon Coolpix L100 Vs Canon PowerShot A590 IS?

Im really struggling on what i want to buy.
Iv come to a decision, And If they can both Do "Slow Sync Flash" Then I Will get the cheapest one.
But The question im asking you, is, Do these both have the function "Slow Sync flash" Or just one, Or None!

Why does my Nikon Coolpix l18 have such horrible battery life?

I only have about 10 pictures on my digital camera that i've had since last Christmas because the battery life is so horrible! I use the batteries it suggests (It's uses non-rechargeable batteries) but the battery life still lasts only about 10 minutes! Why is that? Am I doing something wrong with it? I do a lot of school activities and my friends always bring their cameras to take pictures but I can never bring mine because it only lasts a few minutes:(
