Memory card is write protected, Nikon Coolpix S51?

I have had this camera for about two years, i know it's not the best camera, i'm getting a new one in december.
when i turn it on it says "memory card is write protected" it won't allow me to take pics or delete them. I can navigate through the menus and pics though.

does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you attach lenses to Nikon Coolpix P520?

My dad just purchased this camera for me and it s being shipped soon, I really don't none all of the specs to it so I was wondering if you could attach other lenses to the camera?

Looking for a beginner dslr?

I might be going on a photo/hiking tour this summer so I'd like to be prepared and not look like a fool by bringing my little pocket coolpix…
I don't want to start out with something super expensive, if photography becomes a huge part of my life I can always upgrade. I was thinking I'd like to try to start with something in the 400-500 dollar range. I know that's a bit tough, but have any suggestions?

My Nikon Coolpix L100 is making my pictures have a blue tint. How can I fix this?

All of my outdoor pictures have a blue tint. I cannot find a setting that will change this. Does anyone have any ideas?

My Nikon Coolpix L830 camera is frozen and making a clicking noise?

As soon as I pressed the flash button it just went black and froze up. It keeps making a clicking noise and stops when I remove the batteries. I've tried replacing them and I've tried connecting it to the computer but it doesn't respond.

What do I do?

Good Video Editor Software & Equipment To Make Youtube Videos?

I'm making youtube videos but does anybody out there knows a good free video editor software to edit videos? When I watch youtube videos, such as fashion lookbook, makeup tutorials, I notice that they don't use Youtube Editing but they use video softwares. I have HP Vista laptop, a Webcam & a regular Nikon Coolpix L610 Camera, not a Apple Inc, Mac laptop, so I cant use iMovie software. Does anybody knows what are the good video editng softwares? When I'm editing my videos I want it it to be

- Two-Split videos
- Edit/change the video background (Blue or Green screen background)
- Commentate throughout the video while music is playing
- Logo creating
- Speed Up or Slow down videos
- Video Filter Effects
- Transitioning effects
- ETC

Why can't I take videos on my Nikon Coolpix S210?

In more detail I have the Nikon Coolpix S210. I recieved this as a gift for Christmas and around New Years I started taking videos with it. They all came out clear and there were no problems with it. A few weeks later I tried to take another video and the camera just flashed as if I were taking a picture, the screen went black and turned off with the lens still out. It never encountered water or anything like that but I have to admit I dropped it a few times but there is nothing else wrong with it. Is there anything I can do to fix this or should I use my warranty to get a new one?

-Also it definetely is on video mode. (:

Nikon coolpix s4100 won't charge? - 1

I've had my nikon less then a year and it wont charge via wall charger or computer. I also tried my back up battery and it wont turn on or charge with that battery either.yes the batteries were installed correctly AND I even took out the memory card as I saw some other forums mentioned to do so without any luck. We bought it from best buy about 9 or 10 months ago so I don't think they will do anything about it since I didn't buy insurance on it. UGH. Any other way I can troubleshoot this to get it to work?

Black spot on camera screen?

There's a black spot on my camera screen (nikon coolpix 4600) and i don't know what's wrong with it. It's not on the lens or anything because it still takes pictures fine. But the screen is all white except for a black spot.

i took my camera to a fair yesterday and on the way, it was just fine.and then when i wanted to take a picture that black spot came out of nowhere.

do you think it was due to the heat? It wasn't that hot though, maybe around mid 70s-low 80s.here's a pic…
