Sony Cybershot H200 VS Nikon Coolpix l820?

I am planning on getting a sort of one step down dslr. Looking to use it for basically what any beginner wants to use it for, everything. And should I wait for boxing day (Canadian Black Friday) to get one?

Nikon coolpix x5400 need a charger?

So i just got this old camera out last night and i have used it before but now i cant charge it because there is the little charger box that holds the battery but the cord that connects to it doesn't fit

i tried plugging it in to the computer and that didn't help charge it are there any other ways i could charge it???

I'm planning to buy a point and shoot camera for my mom and I can't decide which one's better.My options are nikon coolpix s3200, kodak pixpro fz51 and canon powershot a2600?

Do megapixels matter when recording with a point and shoot?

I just picked up a 12 megapixel Olympus TG-2 for underwater videos for a cruise I am going on. I did just today best Buy also has a Nikon - Coolpix AW110 that is 16 megapixel. Does can do 1080 HD videos but would the Nikon at 16MP do better then the Olympus at 12 or is that only for stills?

Nikon Coolpix P100 good for video?

I am thinking of getting this camera but as I've bought cameras and been disappointed with the result thus far, I want to make sure I know what I'm getting. I will mostly use the camera for /almost/-professional cosplay shoots (full or waist-up portraits) and cmvs (cosplay music videos).It this a good camera for such?

Camera will not turn on?

Coolpix 14.0 had an error message - not sure what it said but the camera will not turn on - changed the battery and cleaned out the battery area

My Nikon Coolpix S3100 won't charge or work at all?

Two years ago I got my Coolpix camera. Since then I have lost the SD card (stupid, I know) and the battery refuses to work.

The first time this happened, we got a new battery. I charged it overnight, and the next day it only worked for like 5 minutes then turned off. I haven't been able to get it to work ever again.

At the moment it's connected to my computer. The only hope I have for it is that the little flash thing blinks for a few seconds then turns off. I've read this means it's charging. I try to unplug then turn it on but it won't. Any help? Thanks!

How to avoid vignetting when attaching lenses to my Nikon p7100?

I just bought two Vivitar lenses, wide angle and telephoto. I also have the 58 mm conversion adapter. Everything fits, but I can't figure out how to fix the vignetting! I changed settings on my camera to wide angle and that didn't help any.Is there another piece of the puzzle I am missing? Google hasn't helped me finding any answers!
