What's a good digital camera to use for college parties?

I'm leaving for college soon and i plan on purchasing a new digital camera to take around with me and take pictures of parties, clubs, bars etc.

I want something that takes clear pictures with HD quality video quality.

I was looking at the Nikon Coolpix s3300 earlier and it doesn't look that bad…

Any suggestions?

Where can i buy rechargeable lithium aa batteries for my Nikon camera?

I live in Ireland and have a Nikon coolpix l810 digital camera and every time i buy normal alkaline batteries they don't last very long even top brand one like energizer and duracell and was wondering is there anywhere online where i could buy rechargeable lithium aa batteries that are compatible my camera i tried buying some cheap ones off ebay but when I put them into my camera the camera wouldn't come on and it got extremely hot after a few mins

How to format a memory card in a Nikon Coolpix L820?

What is formatting and how do I do it? I'm a very inexperienced photographer, wanting to become better and don't really know much about memory cards etc. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Just bought a Nikon Coolpix L820 and cannot install software?

There are 2 disks that came with the camera. One is Nikon reference manual for Coolpix L820, the other is Nikon ViewNX2. I've tried in install both disks to my laptop, Windows 7, but nothing happens. I heard that there were some similar problems with the Nikon ViewNX2 disks. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can get around it? I can't even upload my pics using the USB cable… Thanks.

How to focus Nikon Coolpix l810 better in video mode?

I have a Nikon Coolpix l810 and I'm taking it too a horse trials this weekend and want to video show jumping. The only problem is focusing in video mode, Ive had the camera set into the easy auto mode and sport but still the same problem happens. Whenever I zoom in it will focus perfectly for about a second then go blurry again.It looks great when it does focus perfectly and it's so frustrating when it goes blurry again. If anyone has any experience with this and could give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance:)

Nikon Camera won't play my videos on windows media player?

I have this Nikon camera L610 full HD, but it won't play my 1080p videos on my computer.

I had cheaper cameras, none HD cameras and had no problems playing videos on windows media player.

now this Nikon takes great videos full HD but, guess what? THEY DON'T PLAY ON MY COMPUTER!!!

I feel like I wasted my money, i mean what's the point of having videos on HD but it won't play them on my computer.

why Nikon does this? what were they thinking? I mean? what am i suppost to do?

Added (1). It has something to do with the codec not installed on the computer. I have 2 computers.windows 7 and windows Vista, both PCs won't open the video

Both are found on Dells website.
Added (1). Which ever one i choose it will be used mainly for wildlife photography
