What are some good point and shoot nikon cameras for taking pics?

Just mainly need ont for sports and taking photos of my kids and want to be able to click click without haiving to wait to take next pics what nikons do u recomend i have always used canon but they dont have sports modes.so gonna go to nikon so far was looking at L810, L820 and the P510 but kinda dont wanna spend more then $300 on one

I love taking pictures! And i just started photography at my school. Its a great class and i really like the teacher. Our assignment today was to go around the school and take at least 50 pictures of anything we wanted. I added my favourite pictures to my deviant art page but i don't know if they are that great or not.can you please give me some feedback or tips? Added (1). I know i still have tons to learn :) We had a double block today so our second assignment was to use difference effects and colours and things which is why most of them are edited too

My camera creates random colored frames when animating?

I create stop-motion animation, and recently while animating I go back and review the animation by clicking through the frames and up comes a colored frame. Its like someone took a translucent colored filter of colors such as yellow or green and put it in front of the lens. If anyone has any input on whats going on that would be great!

The camera is a Nikon Coolpix L120
The setting was on Up-close or "flower."

Help with a Kodak EasyShare?

My grandpa gave me a Kodak EasyShare digital camera that he has had for like almost 5 years I think. I don't use it because I don't know how to take the pictures on it, but I have a Nikon Coolpix.In the Kodak camera there was a memory card so I've been trying to take pictures on my Nikon with it so I can print it with the Kodak (it's the one with a printer just for the camera, the Kodak EasyShare dock) but it says format unknown and stuff like that. How can I print my pictures? It won't even show the pictures do I need to change the format and how?

Why won't my Nikon coolpix s4300 charge?

Had it for about a year, but i hardly use it because i have a dslr.anyways, I wanted to charge it, but it wont charge. I used multiple chargers that fit, tried different outlets, and still nothing works. I know that when it charges, the on/off button blinks a green light, but it doesn't anymore.Im thinking it's the battery, but it cant be because it's still new (to me at least).

Why can't my Nikon P510 focus through the eyepiece?

When you are looking through the eyepiece, it is blurry, but when you take the picture, the image is clear.

What type of programs do i need for the nikon coolpix p100wide 26x zoom camera?

My camera suppose to shoot clear hd like the one in the music videos.but its doesnt.do i need a certain program, or laptop i have a windows xp.its kinda old.or but it on a certain setting.

So, todays my birthday… And I got a Nikon Coolpix L810
But im wondering how can you change the shutterspeed?
Ive read the manual and it doesnt mention how to change the speed anywhere,
Can anyone help?

Pink hue, color distortion and lines Digital Camera photos?

Ok so i have a Nikon Coolpix S3300 and when i took it out and tried to take some pictures today but when it was focusing the image was blurry and had a pink hue to it and when i took the picture the colors would be distorted, there would be horizontal lines and the image would be blurry.(the camera was working fine earlier in the day) Here are some pictures:

When i went out i put the camera in my pocket and when i looked at the camera it had two small dents on the side of the lens. I don't think that happened when i took my camera out though because i don't recall anything coming into contact with the camera, no moisture either.

I would really appreciate an answer to how to fix it or an explanation as to what has happened.
