I'm looking for a camera, both of these are the same price so I don't really know which one to get. The Salesperson told me the Nikon Coolpix L310 is better. I'm not very sure about that. Help?

How to focus a digital camera?

I've seen on YouTube where youtubers focus their camera on something specific. (Name of a makeup on a bottle, etc) It is not always on SLR cameras but digital ones. I have a Nikon Coolpix L26 and I was wondering how to focus the camera specifically for when I am recording. (If I were trying to show words on a paper. I could focus it so it isn't blurry and the words could be read perfectly.) Thanks for answering!

Nikon coolpix battery charging HELP!

I lost the battery charger for my camera but I have the plug in for the computer/wall. I just plugged my camera into the wall using a usb wall-plug converter for an i-pod/i-pad and the light on the camera is on.My battery is not dead so I have no idea if it is charging. Does anyone know if plugging it into the wall is charging the battery? or just wasting energy?

I was wondering what brand/type of adapter I should buy to use a nikon lens on an olympus pen camera.An estimate price for how much I should be paying for an adapter would be helpful as well. My camera, a Nikon Coolpix S3300, has a 2-second and a 10-second timer. What does that mean? What does it mean?

Nikon P2 Coolpix Camera - Making me Crazy! Pictures are dark and many are blurred?

I have a Nikon Coolpix P2 camera. I have to stand 3 feet away from my subject in order to get a flash picture to come out right. Outside it takes great pics but indoors it sucks big time! Does anyone have any advice?

I have tried working with the settings, I have tried calling Nikon (they told me to reset to factory settings - duh!).

The "scene" settings are much to ambigious. They almost never fit the situation and besides who in the heck wants to be fumbling for a setting when all you want to do is take a picture!

I got this camera as a gift - it was a welcome and wonderful gift however, it is turning into a nightmare as I struggle beyond words to "operate" this very disappointing camera.
